If you've ever been a regular or semi-regular at Toronado SF, the guys at Falling Rock are big ol' sweetheart pussycats in comparison.

None of that is on the way from Denver to SLC, you should fly into Vegas for that. The mtns here are real cool and once you hit Arches and head south southwestish it gets really cool. Have fun and remember to bring all your beer for Utah and hide it. The Utahds still hand out bootlegging tickets and take your shit.

Thanks for the pointer, I had no idea. I figured I needed to hide my dank and edibles I picked up in CO, but not my beer.

Under an ounce is a $450 ticket in Utah. Not a good thing but you aren't going to jail so there is that.

Any tips on any breweries, bars, and bottle shops by the Denver Marriott Tech Center. I won't have a car but can uber somewhere within reason. Will be there April 26th and 27th for work.

Dry Dock South looks close so that's great.

See there is a Whole Foods, Europa Wine and Spirits, DTC Wine and Spirits, and Heritage Wine and Liquor (The last two are close to a Torchy's Tacos so that is a plus since I haven't been back to Texas in over 18 months).

Comrade Brewing is an easy Uber ride away, and is an absolute must if you like hoppy beers (though make sure to try Koffee Kream Stout in addition to the pales and IPAs). For bottle shops Heritage is quite solid. Make sure to walk in behind the cooler doors nearest to the entrance to get access to their bomber area. It is in walking distance to the Torchy's if that is a priority.

If you go just a couple of miles further via Uber you can hit up Davidson's which is even better.

The breweries I'd try to hit up tend to be north of you, in no particular order: Comrade, Copper Kettle, Dry Dock South, and Bull & Bush. Bull & Bush is a brewpub with nice guest taps and decent food. You could also hit up Dad & Dude's if you're interested in trying beer with cannabinoids (no THC, though).

Also, Grapevine Wine and Liquors is ~2 miles away from Comrade Brewing.

Any good liquor stores for craft beer near the Pepsi center? I'm staying just south of the stadium.

Your best bet is Mr. B's, Argonaut or Joy's but they may require am Uber ribe depending on where you are.

Will be in Denver for one Saturday in June with wife and one year old. Looking for a good place to stay with some local (short walking distance) beer spots and family friendly non-beer fun. Based on initial research and the Denver threads, RiNo is an early favorite for Crooked Stave and Epic but interested in any other feedback. We will be leaving from Denver on Sun heading to meet family in Glenwood for a few days. Any spots that fill crowlers I could bring with me would be a plus. Planning to hit up Casey in Glenwood but any other recommendations there or along the way are welcome. Thanks in advance!

Colorado liquor laws are crazy, I doubt that whole foods will have a liquor license. Lukas liquors near park meadows has a great selection too.
There are some great taquerias in the south metro, I don't get the torchy hype.

The only Whole Foods around here with liquor sales is in Boulder. At least for now. I dunno how the new law changes affect that.

Yeah- torchy's is eye-ight, but there's just so many great places to get delicious Mexican that its hard to rationalize.... particularly when lunch or dinner ends up costing twice as much

Please share where these are. Everywhere I go down here has glorified ketchup for salsa and serves their tacos soaked in some goopy sauce so you cant taste the store bought tortillas.

Where is there good mexican any where in Denver?

There aren't a lot of hotels in this area, but if you are just looking for a nice area to hang out for a day (or are considering something like an AirBnB stay) I would recommend the City Park area for a good combo of beer stuff and kid friendly activities. I've been bringing my two little guys to this area for a while now because In City Park you've got the Denver Zoo (probably my best recommendation for a 1-2 year old) or the Denver Museum of Science and Tech. In addition, you've got the Denver Botanic Gardens just to the south which is also good for a stroll with a little toddler and June is a great time to visit there.

Beer wise in that area, Vine Street Pub and Cerebral Brewing are both quite good and each give you something a bit different to offer. Vine Street is a full scale restaurant and EXTREMELY kid friendly (cash only though). Cerebral definitely does crowler fills, Vine Street does growlers. There are also a couple of good bottle shops in the general area with Argonaut and Joy's Wine and Spirits. Denver Biscuit Company/Atomic Cowboy also makes for a nice restaurant to bring kids to that is still worth visiting for the grownups (anything served on a biscuit will be delicious).
