What beer are you drinking now? #1627

Morning! I think that Ithaca has made an exceptional pils this year. I think the appearance is exceptional and we often talk about scoring in threads. Because the appearance is perfect it should be considered a 4 not a 5. Then as I notice feature that stand out even beyond that I will tick up . I did notice that in some pilsners the head seems to be either creamier or soapier. I think it should be at the most a sweet combination but never like shaving foam and never too soapy or too tall. I actually want @steveh and @JackHorzempa and even @herrburgess to try my homer beer please. Dry, sensual with herbal and a firm malt. My oh my! I am going to pair this with beet salad with spinach and walnuts and with my Scotch style short ribs. Cheers you all and have a nice day please.

This is not one of them. Bell's Oberon bottled 3/3. Excellent summer beer especially in cans.

Good morning BAs! Cloudy today after last night's rain here in NW PA. Gotta head to my local distributor at 1000 because his shipment comes in, 12 cases of KBS on order. HA! Like that'll happen! Nevertheless, I'll be there.

@utopiajane: I am enjoying your exploration of the Ithaca Brewing, Saranac, and Genessee beers. We rarely see those beers in these parts. When I visit the Finger Lakes this Summer I will try some of your suggestions.

I like that beer.

 

4.1% alcohol. Introduced in 2016 for a one-shot offering. Brewed in Texas.

 

The first of the $1 glasses. I already had a pokal with the same graphics, but I buy these for my wife and her friends. It's highly entertaining to me to watch a full time Mich Ultra drinker pour that beer into a (non-frosted) glass for the first time. Every time "it looks like water."

PC Pils from Founder's. Read the label as they are telling you exactly what you are buying. A pils loaded with the 3 C hops. Enjoyable
