Got there around 3:30, bottled up and bounced. Anyone try it yet?

 

Sounds like overall this wasn't too crazy? Hoping the next hazy beer they bottle is wide rainbows, I'd make the trip from Socal for that.

 

Connor said they're going to try and do bottle releases twice a month to hopefully calm down the craze.

 

Hrm... Not sure if that will quell or incite it.

I kinda like the current frequency, but I guess they'll make more money doubling up.

 

Oh and back to the beer... only did Wicked Juicy on tap.

Cold, it's a little muted, but got tastier as it warmed. Signature Cellarmaker profile: fruity notes - orange, melon, some tangerine - over a grainy malt base. Definitely not "NE juicy". It's good now, but I think next week it'll be even better. I'll crack open my first bottle then.

 

Yeah, can't wait to try Wicked Juicy after it has settled a bit, I remembered Juice Gymnastics tasting better after the first couple of days.

Looking at the cm website, they have Mo' Nelson, Orange Jullian, Double Dobis, and Imp Coffee and Cigs next up on stage.....

 

Saw a picture of the board yesterday on twitter. Julian is already up there with the Coming Soon sign blocking it.

I missed it last time so hopefully I can make it this time.

 

IC&C has Coming Soon removed. Plus it's growlerable. I know what I'm getting today.

Did you try the December / Bottle batch? That was the best one I've had, but this one is close.

Especially since it's super fresh, the coffee flavors are bonkers (which I love), and gets rounded out by some fudgey chocolate notes. I only had a 5oz pour, so I wish I had more to say (the growler gets cracked tomorrow.) In my memory, I feel like it's slightly harsher than the last batch for some reason? But I'm nitpicking. It has everything I loved from the previous release.

Bonus: They're also filling 64oz/2L growlers of it. I thought they only did 32oz/1L for these bigger beers?

 

I got a 64 growler fill of the batch from Sept (I think). Didn't try the batch from when they bottled it, but I loved the one I had.

 

Yeah, I enjoyed the bottles last time. Super good.

 

So just drank my last bottle of Juice Gymnastics. If you guys are still holding onto it, you may want to drink it.

To me... it still has the juicy qualities + hint of NE bubblegum yeast. But the most dominant flavor right now is an intense bitterness that wasn't present the first few weeks. I guess it is a DIPA after all, and now it's really showing itself.

 

got one bottle left as well... guess should get at it sooner than later
