Riding a Belgian wave this week . . .

look: 3.5 | aroma: 3.75 | taste: 4.25 | feel: 4 | overall: 4.25

Dark brownish color with orange highlights around the edges. Nice tan cap and lacing.

Aroma of dark malt, toffee and yeasty dark bread with something light and cheerful like cherries.

Taste is a complex, very sophisticated combination of good things. Caramelized sugar, lightly toasted homemade bread, Dark ripe figs, all with a spicy, fruity influence. Hops are minimal, just enough to balance, and carbonation is at just about the right pitch. Dark cherries return in the aftertaste basking in the afterglow.

Medium full texture with balancing carbonation.

It simply tastes like a classic with strength and sophisticated finesse.

Good morning BAs! It's snowy and 33 degrees here so the snow won't last long. Today's New Breakfast Beer is one I brought back from MI last week for a friend of my son. Just when I was starting to like brown ales...

Left Hand Saison Au Miel. 6.8%

The head had dissipated into nothing. I get a lot of clove, yeast funk. Honey is subdued. You get some alcohol up front. The honey cuts it. Overall for me not my favorite saison totally but very drinkable, sneaky at 7% id love to find the other seasonal variants. Cheers.

Good morning and happy Friday BA's, or as I'm gonna call it today ROWYBO3 Eve ! Speaking of 3 (you all must be getting tired of my segues by now ), the Staff and I have mustered up a 3rd day of 3 deserving vessels in 3 consecutive days. That's right, it's time for the Glass of the Day Awards!

GotD: As soon as I saw this shaker pint on a stemmed pedestal, I knew we had something special. Hell, it looks like a trophy! Cheers and congrats to @Mitchellm . 2 mentions, 2 GotD's. Not bad.
2nd: Thanks to @jvgoor3786 for giving us the pleasure of enjoying another of his stained glass beauties. Although, I believe your wife deserves the credit for these, right ?
3rd: And finally out to one of our favorite and consistent reviewers, and always proper, @superspak for this New Belgium (I believe ?) fish bowled Belgian pilsner glass.

Let's get it started. Great beer. Triple ipa imo. And probably the best. I would say the closest beer in comparison is founders devil dancer. But this is worlds better.
