Always "olive oil". Must be a common description. As I have said before on these boards, a FedEx employee once stated: "Man, you bearded guys sure ship a lot of olive oil"!

I pre-print my labels and I was asked this morning, quite to my amusement. Luckily I had rehearsed what I was going to say ahead of time. "Olive oil and BBQ sauce" was my answer.

And then she asked me if I had packed it safely/securely to which I replied "I pride myself on my ability to pack securely, but thanks for asking".

If they ask, I tell them it's homemade olive oil or bbq sauce

Once in Utah I went to a FedEx to drop off a box. A lady asked me what was in it. Caught me off guard as I never been asked that. Me panicking I said "stuff." And she looked at me and asked again. Then I said "olive oils." She went and got a box cutter and said "there better not be any alcohol" as she proceeded to cut it open right in front of me. I immediately grabbed the box and walked out. Shook me to my core and I haven't traded in a while. Now I just print the label, slap it on and drop it off.

So I'm a chef, yes I love and trade beer, as being new to trading Fed ex always ask what I was shipping and I always said BBQ sauce. After a while I opened an account and gave them a whole story while in my chef coat, etc on the sauces and marinades I make (lol it's all beer) and they gave me an option to add my own company name to my account which was free and I have them a lamo name, etc... Everytime I walk in they are like " what's up chef" and I laugh inside and tell them some jargon and move on, bottom line of you constantly say you are shipping sauces and oils...buy a damn chef coat to seem legit. Cheers!
