What was the bottle limit on trail dubbel today ?

Is this site basically halfway under construction? Product looks cool for sure.

Any idea how long SP beers traditionally last on release day? I have not been to a SP release and I am trying to plan out my visit this weekend to STL.

People always ask this but the answer remains the same, nobody really knows. Generally, as long as you're there by start of sales, you're good. I wouldn't be surprised if there is a lot of BdP though

 

Did Trial Dubbel sell out?

 

From what I know, it did, but I can't say for sure. They took it off the on-site consumption list pretty quick.

 

They tweeted that is was available to go at the bar in limited quantities after they shut the line down on Sunday. No idea if it sold out later that day or not.

Just booked my night in Maplewood. I'll be there at the start of the last week in April to check out some brews. If anyone wants to share a bottle, I'd be more then happy to oblige.

 

If there happens to be a release, just show up early. Bottle shares baby! Cory did comment that he appreciated that we cleaned up after ourselves this last time.

 

Is that a bring your own bottle and glass to share kinda deal?

 

A lot of "first timers" don't know what to expect, so they usually just bring a chair. The second time, they bring a chair, glass, and cooler. Usually your line buddies will share stuff with you depending on your and their level of talkativeness. If that fails, one of the tables will turn into the "share table". Beer set down on the "share table" becomes free game.

 

Any ideas about when D7 will pop up on site? I'm assuming it won't see wide release but I'd love to try it!

 

@coryking would know better but I'd assume at least a few weeks ( May )

 

I think Cory did actually announce a release first on these pages once, but I don't think D7 will be a repeat. Probably will be a day of notice kind of thing, with little to no notice. And that is assuming it actually gets released. I hope it is on site only, so I can share it with friends after a release.

 

Don't worry, it would just get leaked and have 250 people lined up for an unannounced release like Anabasis.

I think 250 might be a little exaggeration lol but it's frustrating for sure. I got there right at 3 ( had already planned on heading up before the tweet ) and was maybe 40-50th in line. ( just around the corner of the building back into the lot.
