awesome stuff. Tropical, pineapple NE IPA.

Hadn't come across it before. Bloke in Howes Station in Middleton recommended it. Lovely,

Also for anyone out Middleton way, Howes has stepped their game up from keno corner store to keno corner store with great beer

    6pk, 12oz, 9.3% $11

Yeah, these guys have been on a roll lately. I thought Double Paw was good when I had it around the holidays, but I was even more impressed with Jigsaw Jazz. Probably best beer for the money I've ever had.

Surprised this is the first thread on this place.

Wasn't a huge fan of Jigsaw Jazz but really enjoyed the Rauchbier, Double Paw, and Sgt. Pepper's.

Hard to go wrong for the price, think $11 for a six pack is on the high end for them. I think I paid $8 for the Rauchbier in Back Bay.

Fort Hill is putting out amazing beer.

Jigsaw Jazz is right up there with the best and any doubters should do a blind tasting to get it right.

    I bought 2 6ers one for 10.29 and another for 10.69....unreal!

I can't wait to try the rest of their stuff...7% Fresh Pick IPA goes for 8 bucks a 6 anf from what I heat is high quality as well.

With the recent explosion of high quality NE style IPAS at great prices, my expensive trips to trillium and long trips to TH will be fewer.

    Check these out too
Slumbrew- Big Kids Table also very good
    Relic - Dreamrise
    Wally - pretty good

For both price and taste they're doing some great things. I've enjoyed everything I've had from them

I was faced with the choice of Wally, Big Kids and Jigsaw.

Took Big Kids and Jigsaw. Great beers.

The only thing I would say about Jigsaw is that maybe they could tone down the alcohol a wee bit as it can be a bit hot

I'm usually not into session IPAs but their Farmer's Fresh is also very good. That, Fresh Pick and Jigsaw Jazz are some of the best value-for-your-money beers I've had lately (I've grown accustomed to $5.55 for a 16oz can of some DDH'd Trillium). They claim it's because the water quality in East-Hampton is award-winning.

On the topic of affordable awesome beers, go get Lagunitas Born Again Yesterday. It is incredible. Period. That is all...

Will check it out. Have seen it on the shelves but never picked it up. I'm too easily swayed by a 16oz 4pk of whatever the latest tasty hazy IPA is

Jigsaw Jazz is phenomenal beer, especially considering the price.

Just cause the water tastes great don't mean it's great for making beer however...

Yeah I was quite surprised at the price. And the taste.

Just polished off that 6pk while watching the film 2010. Cheap tasty beer and a cheap tasty movie. Hard to beat

I know nothing about water treatment.

    Is non treated water better?

Depends on what the original water profile is and the beer you intend to make. There MAY be less you have to do to it depending. 100% of breweries treat water in some manner. Water makeup is a science. Breweries like to claim it as some type of terrior. It's not.

Based on the crowd up there yesterday, seems like the secret is out. Nice place job there though. Beautiful view. Delicious beer as well and that wood fired pizza truck...goddamn.

Picked up a can and drank yesterday. Very good beer. Super hazy, and I got tons of mango and guava on the nose. The taste followed pretty close but the flavors don't jump out as much as say a trillium or treehouse, but still very good. for the alchohol content, I think its around 9.3%, it drinks dangerously easy. Overall a really good DIPA that seems pretty accessible.

On a side not, I also tried a beer from relic called flaxen coal which is another NE IPA at around 6.3% and that was also very good. I was wondering when the secret would get out to everyone how to brew these NE style ipas and with all these solid selections popping out I'm very excited to drink this summer!
