The Green Frog remains one of our gems and your contributions to this forum and community cannot be understated either.

While we may disagree about a particular release, I would hope our tone remains one of inclusiveness. I think a release of 30 cans in Tacoma of the BBW beer helps promote Bellingham Beer Week...we don't do a beer for other beer weeks, just Bellingham for now. However, reasonable minds can disagree but using words such as "joke" diminishes the family and the history of this forum. I will cut everyone here a ton of slack and just ask the same before actually trying to talk in person or on the phone.

I'd love to share a beer soon and catch up. Until then, thank you for caring and contributing to this community and for your long support of Fremont. I don't take your support lightly, I just ask that we treat each other as the friends that we are, even when we disagree about the "truth".

I used to live in the South end and always went to Pint Defiance. Now I live in Bellingham. I can't take the tension. Glad you guys hugged it out! :stuck_out_tongue::slight_smile:

I see the non-IPA brewing Wander brewed another IPA and canned it for BBW. LOL

It was a collab with Melvin, what would you expect? Or did your "sources" fail you? Again.

My source is what my own ears told me. And you essentially agreed with me. Whatever brings in the $ I guess.

It's an imperial red ale actually.

What else does Melvin brew? Did you think that any collab with Melvin would be a foeder-aged sour? Plus, just as a reminder (because I know I've mentioned it to you before) Wander has always brewed IPAs. From Day 1. But, please, stick with your alternative facts version.

There is no alternative facts. I heard the brewer talking about it first-hand. It seems odd that a brewery like that would pair with IPA King Melvin.

It is indeed, and a nice, flavorful, hoppy one. I really like it.

Odd that 2 breweries with a history of brewing good IPAs would work together to make a hoppy beer?

I'm going to be visiting next week from Texas, just trying to line up some cool stuff do and am a huge fan of both breweries.

There was 2013 BBOMB and 2014 KDS at Fremont's event last night. Expect to see some rare & vintage Firestone Proprietors and Barrelworks stuff at their event next Friday. Hope you enjoy the trip, cheers!

Had a busy work weekend, but hit both the Skookum Night at WF (along with @TheBungyo), where the Pablo Escobeer continued to impress. Also made a quick stop at Das Schweinhaus for the Skagit County Brewers Night, where a Bourbon Barrel ImpStout from Anacortes made a big impression. Tasty beer.

Definitely hitting Stones Throw Wednesday for the Sour Brewing Brewers Panel with Tonya Cornett, Eric Jorgensen, and others: http://bellinghambeerweek.com/2017-events-2/

So, sitting in Wander, having the BBW collab brew, and I saw something I've never seen outside a beerfest: someone wearing an old-school BeerAdvocate t-shirt. One of you rascals here?
