These guys are knocking it out of the park. I'm curious about what other member's favorites are from them. What are some that you wish they'd brewed more of, or would rebrew?

Tough to get your hands on some of their things...how small are they? A lot of their top things are never there when my contacts are there..

Good luck getting any crowlers since douchebags are buying them up 70+ at a time . . .

I heard the guy that did that was flipping them for double retail price.

That was only to people in his "crew". He flipped them to other people for four times retail priced then flipped them the bird while driving off.

    Also, Forager is pretty great.

Anything in their Moon Hops or Twisted Zweig series are top notch.

I have a couple extra days off of work with nothing to do this week so I was thinking about heading down there for the first time, do they usually have a good amount of crowlers on hand? or do you have to time out releases before making a trip? I will obviously make a call the day I want to head down but trying to get a general idea here.

I can't speak for the folks at Forager, but my hands are not only small, they're tiny.

It can't be more than a 2-3 barrel brewhouse and they turn over beer very fast. I think if your contacts can get there during the week shortly after the beer is released, they can get some crowlers. That has been my experience.

Sherpa's Survival Kit is my favorite beer of theirs. A coffee infused imperial stout. Never had any of their sours but I hear they are good.

Great place! Wish I lived closer to it.

Pro Tip-When you walk in, they have some crowlers sitting in a cooler near the register of the coffee shop that it shares a space with. The first time I was in Forager I went to the bar and ordered some crowlers there, not knowing I had walked by their crowler station! It was a good chance to try some of the beers on tap while I waited though!

I tried to trade for Pudding Goggles and got crickets. If anyone sees this, I'd do it again! I have a El Jefe from Madhouse available...

You folks that near south of the river, Eagan to be exact. Forager is doing a restaurant take over 4/20 at Ansari's and their beers I think will be served as well. They have a catering license

Yeah I've seen/heard that Pudding Goggles and an IPA will be on tap and likely others as well. They always have to "cater" these tap takeover events since they aren't allowed to distribute, being a brewpub.

I was in Rochester two weekends ago and swung in there, but I left Rochester thinking the offerings at Grand Rounds were much better.

I really want to try these, but I'm worried it will be like Vanilla Noir / Imperial Brunch and sell out in 15 minutes. I'm pretty surprised how many people don't mind the drive to Eagan. I'd be a little nervous about how it would look to take time off on 4/20 as well.
