No release this week.

 

Big props to that family in the tasting room on Saturday having their kid's 1st birthday party there.Balloon and everything. I remember my early birthday parties at Sierra Nevada. Me munching on cake while pops chugged back Big Foots.

So anyone got the info on how to RSVP a table for children's parties in the tasting room? I'm thinking it'll probably be easier than trying to reserving a table at the park.

Chuck-E-Cheese is in serious trouble if they don't start making NE haze IPA's to compete.

 

Did they get the kid a Monkish hat? or a monkish sippy cup teku?

So flying into LAX on Saturday morning 4-29. I was planning on stopping by Monkish between 12-1pm en route to the happiest place on earth. What time do they typically do their can releases? Will it be easy enough for me to swing in to grab a couple of growlers if there is a can release? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

 

Can releases are typically at opening and announced a couple hours in advance (sometimes more for weekend releases). If they release a can and your window is 12-1 don't bother

 

There is no can release this week. You can maybe get a growler though

You should be able to stop in and get a growler, make sure to check what is available for fills before stopping in.

 

I was going to just run in for a pint and a couple of growler fills. Kids and breweries are always weird.....

 

Don't let the people here bully you out of bringing your kids in. It's well established to be no more harmful than taking them to a hardware store.

Simply poking fun at the stroller/kid/Monkish line correlation, bring the kids if it works best - no harm. Show them the spirit of the American entrepreneur.

 

Having to put up with the bearded hipster side eyes should only strengthen their character and teach them who not to grow up to be.

 

FWIW weekend releases are pretty rare nowadays so you should be good.

 

They did a double release on a Saturday less than 3 weeks ago so they still happen every so often. Guessing approximately 1 in 5 is now a weekend release.

There has been a notable uptick in Friday releases...

 

I had a dream last night that they released a bottle this week... and they had a board up that said next week was a triple IPA release

I think we need to make a general statement about Monkish releases for the first post everytime we do this thread
