Seven Star Street Bistro opens as the first BYOB restaurant under Boston's new license system. I don't get to Roslindale much but I'm looking forward to more establishments like this in the city.

The BYOB licenses apply only to beer and wine, not cordials or hard liquor. Customers over 21 will be permitted to bring in wine bottles and beer bottles or growlers (up to 64 ounces per person) between the hours of 5 p.m. and 11 p.m.

Seven Star Bistro is worth a visit. Craft Beer Cellar in Roslindale village is walking distance (5 minutes) if anyone doesn't feel like traveling with beer/wine.
