    I missed out on this the first time around, but managed to grab the 2nd to last single yesterday at the only shop in town that had it. Bottled 4/7/17 and tasting great.

    Good morning and Happy 4/20 Thursday BA's! If you're into that sorta thing, great. If not, great. A lot of buzz about it around these parts this year as it finally became "legal" recently. But you know what, this is a site about beer so let's focus on that!!! It's time for the Glass of the Day Awards!

    GotD:     Appropriately themed for the day :sunglasses:, cheers and congrats for your very first GotD @eppCOS for showing us all how to properly take down yer "medicine"... all 24 tablespoons of it! Diggin the can carrier still on the can :wink:.
    2nd: I feel if I don't finally give an award out to this recently well used and proper Pliny the Elder glass from @Barracudas , that I will be robbing him from such an honor. The Staff has taken note on that new hurricane glass too my friend :wink:.
    3rd: And another pairing coming in proper and classic, his second day in a row in the winners circle, @FBarber for this Weihenstephaner weisse glass. Totally agree with you on the beer itself too.

    Honorable mention goes out to a relatively newcomer to the thread, @rhipsher for this sturdy looking chalice (margarita glass? :astonished:).

    Yeah man i still have 5 cans of hopslam left because of it :astonished: i usually tread lightly around ipa with abv higher then 9% but i just had to give into the hype of hopslam

    Aroma of herbal, piney hops with some malt lurking in the background. Brewer says the aroma is fruity but I get herbal.

    Taste is hop forward and lots of it. Heavy hop flavor just like the scent, herbal and resinous. Malt is in there but it seems like I feel it more than taste it. Same hop flavors to the finish and a degree of piney hop bitterness is present in the aftertaste.
