I like the option of crowlers versus growlers. I've been buying crowlers lately instead of growlers. I did take a crowler with me on my latest trip across the Pacific. So it's nice to have that option when traveling.

 

Somewhat late news or so, but as of Friday Green Krack was available in growler/crowler format, my guess is the logjam of production is slowly being loosened.

 

The new Hazy IPA See No Sea is on for fills. It's really good.

I assume no growlers on their website equates to no crowlers as well? Anyone know?

 

As of noon today while I was there, See No Sea was a 1 growler/2 crowler limit. That was the only IPA available for fills.

 

I don't recall the website being very up to date. Instagram and Facebook are best bets for seeing new items on tap

 

They posted that the expansion is fully approved, first brew session starts tomorrow morning.

Should expect growler and crowler fills to be back up then by month end if not sooner.

Wonder how long till they're canning too

 

Did they add a canning machine to the expansion? I know they are doing crowlers.

 

Not that I know of, just seems inevitable.

 

Well they already have a bottling setup, it'd be nice to be able to grab those again from the fridge.

 

I didn't see a canning machine in there yesterday.

 

What's going on at RiiP? Anything new and exicting? Crowler fills? Hows the expansion going?

 

The new expansion is supposed to be online. They're expecting growler / crowler fills to be available again starting this week or next, IIRC. Can't wait to start getting growlers from these dudes again. Way easier than making the drive to "monks"

 

Their first run should be ready any day now.

THANK YOU! I was there yesterday and tried all their Hoppy beers and only liked one. I got two crowlers of it and then proceeded to drink them both on the golf course before rating it (yes, I awoke at 3am with a crazy hangover if you're wondering). I was trying to remember the name because I really liked it. Cali Haze, thanks!

 

Was told by a buddy of mine who frequents riip that Trevor and Billy just quit a few days ago ..havent gotten an update as of yet the details..does anyone else know by chance?
