42 minutes with no post. I'm starting to have withdrawal symptoms guys. I need my dld crack!!

 

If you ever want to induce rage in yourself, call eTix. I was on hold for 30 minutes and hung up on. I called back and was put on hold for 27 minutes and you guessed it, hung up on. I called a 3rd time and they finally answered after 20 minutes. I gave them my order number and am now back on hold for 8 minutes and counting...

 

It sounds like trying to call a cable company.

 

Comcast just makes you wait an hour. They don't hang up on you and force you to the back of the queue multiple times.

Well that only took 1 hour and 46 minutes. Fingers crossed they are shipped correctly this time.

 

Every year I hear about a handful of incidents like this concerning tickets, and that is why I stress out about the tickets until I physically have them in my hand.

Hopefully you get them this time....if not I hear third time is a charm.

I remember the year the "Official Dark Lord Thread" became so absurd that people opened competing ones. ... That didn't work.

'shitshow' is probably the most accurate way to describe DLD, so i think it's only fitting everything associated with it (ticket delivery, forum threads, etc) follow suit

 

My wife and I are finally attending DLD after unsuccessfully trying for tickets since 2013. Only groups D and E but whatever I'm just happy to be attending. We live in Indy but bro in law lives a mile from FFF so we're plenty familiar with their ways. So I have a couple serious questions, but will take all kinds of answers.

From all I have read, best time for sharing is early in the morning but our group times aren't until 3pm and 5pm so getting there at 9am or earlier my wife wouldn't necessarily make it that long. When do you other group D and E people arrive?

Chances are that one or both of us will end up with vintage bottles instead of variants. I know 2012 seems to be the one to avoid. Any personal favorites?

Any other tips for DLD virgins? Be gentle, use lube.
