Maybe for the first drop, but it will keep hitting the shelves over and over. What's out now isn't the last of it.

In his defense, when he says he's taking I90 to I94, I assume that mean's he won't be taking 94 through Milwaukee (or Kenosha). If going to Minneapolis, he'll probably stay on I90 up through Rockford (IL) and into Beloit (WI), avoid SE Wisconsin.

Maybe someone from the Madison area can help him out. I'm sure there's a Woodman's and/or Total Wine around there he can hit up.

I hear ya. There is a Woodmans in Janesville about 3 minutes from the exit. This should be his stop.

I understand it can be found a lot of places, but on the west side near minneapolis I know it has been raided pretty well. Wasn't sure if the rest of the state was. Thanks for the info.

Craft beer in the 21st century. New Glarus is pumping out the beers that people love, and makes it so easy and affordable to get- it must be too good to be true, right?

Yes-- definitely affordable. But far from easy to find if you don't live in Wisconsin. It's one of the luxuries of living in this state.

Thanks for the tip, she went to Woodmans and got what I asked for, she did call and tell me that the place was huge and she didn't know where to go, someone stocking overheard her and directed her to the right location. Thanks again for the help!

Is the Strawberry Rhubarb as sweet as the WBR? I loved the flavor of the red but it was too sweet for me to drink a full glass of

Nah, if WBR is a 10/10 in fruity sweetness, I would say SR is at a 5-6/10. It's still fairly sweet but the rhubarb gives a nice tartness to it. It's also not as syrupy.

I'll have to make the venture up north then. I'm a FIB that is just now dipping my toes in New Glarus

Stopped in Kenosha woodmans today and they were out of the strawberry rhubarb ... hopefully I can snag some in the next wave.

Some dickhole cleaned out my local Woodman's as well last Friday. The clerk said they bought the 15 or so 4-packs that were on the shelf.

I was looking forward to enjoying some Strawberry Rhubarb over the beautiful weekend, rude. I'll just have to wait until the next drop.

Yea, people have been acting strange with SR I've noticed. I went to Tosa Wine & Spirits (located just outside Milwaukee) last weekend and saw there were three 4-packs available. As I grabbed one, and brought it to the front counter, the cashier took one look at it and said "Ohh...I didn't realize those were out." He quickly ran to the fridge and grabbed the remaining 2 4-packs and hid them behind the counter. He said he wanted to keep one for himself, and had to hold the last one for a "frequent customer" that was out of town.

I haven't been back since then, to see if they have more of it or not.

Just go to your local Pick N Save. I got my first 4 pack at Ottos, and a 2nd 4-pack at Pick N Save. Beer nerds don't buy beer at Pick N Save so it sits forever. They actually had a 4 pack of Cranbic still.
