    Good evening (morning for some)! It is Tuesday, so I figured I would pick something relevant. This one just exceeds 20% ABV, which is insane. Will not be finishing the bottle tonight!

    Having some nice Chakalaka and pasta to go with it!

    Score 3.43
    look: 3.25 | aroma: 3.25 | taste: 3.5 | feel: 3.5 | overall: 3.5

    Light gold color with white cap and lacing.

    Mild aroma of sweet malt and spicy hops.

    Taste is straight forward malt with floral, spicy hops very much in the European tradition. Malt on entry with hops making a later appearance with a slight hop bitterness in the aftertaste.

    Light medium texture with balancing carbonation.

    Overall it's a pleasing lager with malt presence and enough hop influence to be refreshing.

    I've never actually baked, but from what I have seen you actually have to cut pretty deep: 1/2 inch deep or more to actually see a more obvious slash on the finished product. That said, they look fantastic.

    Welp, happy Tuesday BA’s. You know by now that there are only a few things that make me and the Staff put in some overtime on our scheduled day off. That's right, magic happened again yesterday. It's time for the Glass of the Day Awards!

    GotD: If you don't know by now, you haven't been paying attention! I'm addicted to Thistles! And this one from @BeerVikingSailor is model perfection :grimacing:...! Cheers and congrats my friend, and can't wait to join you in the lake for that promotion celebration!
    2nd: Anybody else ever notice that many a time, if it's not one it's the other for top honors :astonished:? Well here comes @dcotom with another amazing $0.99 thrift store find in this beautiful Spiegelau glass.
    3rd: Gotta love simplicity, and this Mikerphone fish bowl from @Nachos4two is simply wonderful!

    Honorable mentions go out to @JayORear for (1), it always pay to throw out a little #ShamelessPandering :wink:, and (2), I love Willibecher's! And to @BeerVikingSailor yet again for this celebratory Okocim Seidel.

    After a long day at the remote office, this looked like a good idea. 100 ml samples of their draft selection. They only had 6 taps so there a 2 of most of them.

    No food pic tonight. I managed to reorder the Snitzel even though clearly telling my waitress something different. Must be the fact that my German sucks.

    Lunch with my wife & one her fiends at the new downtown joint here in Grove, OK, USA ( Called the Blue Duck or the 1909 ). Had an Elk Valley PA & Coop Alpha Hive on tap with my Cheese Burger & Cheese Curds. Now time for a nap
