They'll just have the North gate for A go directly into the bottle line so A people going through the South gates won't be able to get bottles until the A line from the North gate clears. You'll be able to enjoy the fest in the interim, but will have less choice for variants.

I can just imagine the casual Darklord day attendee stumbling across this post, they must think it is full of useful information! One hundred pages of Darklord day information! Jackpot! How many pages do you think people actually read through before giving up??

Must be for this thread only. Last time I posted a meme or gif it was deleted and I got a warning. Mods here are dorks and I'm sure I'll get a warning for that too

 

I think they just decided that they would need a moderator on this thread 24/7, so they let a lot of shit slide.

 

I honestly think they mark this thread as completely invisible to them, because they know. They know...

 

The Dark Lord Day thread should always start with the DLD survival guide and the www.darklordday.info link. Next, the graphs that @kodt created should be posted. After that there should be a simple disclaimer that the rest of the thread will contain small amounts of useful information scattered throughout hundreds of pages of pure silliness.

 

I got busted the other day. I honestly had no idea that memes weren't allowed. There was a mod bot warning and a link to the codes of conduct. The memes were then promptly deleted.

 

No doubt. The main problem is the fact that FFF (3F) gives us very little information. We got a date for DLD in October, an announcement about tickets, pricing, and the allotments a couple of weeks before tickets went on sale, and...well, that's been it. As much as @zach60614 wants the band list we don't even have that. My point is that if FFF (3F) gave us some useful information we'd have useful stuff to talk about.

I get that. Seriously, there's only so much useful information one can give regarding DLD. I find this thread to be an extremely entertaining way to kill time in-between small bits of actual FFF info they might let trickle out while waiting for the DLD. However, I really like the talk when variants are released, when people post from DLD, and the fallout/experiences posted after DLD.

 

Absolutely, I'm not here for info, this is my third year going, and my third year being a part of this forum. It's a great thread, and I find it quite entertaining. Hopefully we get a variant list soon, and that should get things moving. Then after the fest there will be great stories to be told!

 

Agreed. It's a beerfest not the SAT's. This will be my fourth DLD and really it's all common sense stuff. Rainy and cold, wear the proper clothing. Drink water and eat something every so often.

 

The toughest thing about this thread is that there's minimal continuity. You could bring up a great point or question and It'll either go unnoticed or you'll get a response or two (often snarky) and then the next ten posts have nothing to do with each other. I'm convinced the DLD thread has ADHD.
