Chicagoland NE IPAs (2018)

Had Mumford-Noble-Transient-Tree-Cruz Blanca- Hubbards-Pipeworks

And Corridor was best after Doppelgänger.... it's legit AF

 

Have to echo the Corridor SqueezIt love going on. The best I've had from Chicagoland. Soft, just the right amount of sweet, low bitterness, with lingering citra and mosaic flavor. Fantastic beer. Would love to know their mosaic to citra ratios because they're perfect, imo.

 

My only gripe was that I felt the beer could use a little bit more 'body'. Aside from that, its delicious. Also extremely affordable especially if youre filling a 64 oz growler.

 

Same Head Brewer at Corridor and DryHop, Brent Dubovick. Roger Cuzelus moved into the lead brewer slot. He was the original assistant brewer at Corridor then went to Forbidden Root.

 

Anyone know if Corridor and Forbidden Root fill outside growlers or only their own?

 

I'm pouring out my backwash for the ability to grab a $10 crowler of it and be out the door in minutes that likely died today. RIP ability to do that.

 

I like Corridor better than Doppelganger.

Not better than Julius, but still...

 

Squeezit

I can see how someone would prefer Squeezit. It's insanely good. I preferred Doppel last night, but it was way closer than I thought and Doppelganger is in my top 5 IPAs.

 

Went today and had 4 Squeeze it's just now.. yeah.. it happens.. so good... bought 3 Crowlers to go.. they have plenty left from this batch! Go get it!!!!

 

Corridor fills any growlers, had to go back for more after finishing two crowlers this week.

 

Squeezit first sip like nothing else, perfectly balanced, huge fruit, sweet. Two more sips and it's lost the fruit punch and it becomes juice pants....

 

No it doesn't- it's legit- one of the best Chicago as seen.

 

I live 2 blocks from Forbidden Root and they do fill outside growlers

 

Went to Corridor yesterday after reading all the buzz about Squeezit. I'm completely on board. The best NE style in Chicago right now. It passed the most recent Hubbard's Cave for me.

 

How much does Corridor charge for a 32oz Crowler?

 

A crowler of Sqeezit and a crowler of their saison cost me $19...not sure what the individual breakdown is.

 

Anyone have an idea if this will last through the weekend? or at least until 7 when I can get there after work tonight for a growler fill? thanks in advance.

 

I was told yesterday it was a 10 bbl batch and they had gone thru half of it in a week. It should be on for a couple more days I would think.
