Not that this completely negates your point, but they haven't used the recent process for the better part of a decade.

I might swap the last three around if I get to taste any of the new variants on tap or depending on the vintage years.

I know HJ is desired and I know a lot of people love it. I am not a huge fan of vanilla to be honest. I can enjoy it used sparingly in a beer but I cannot stand the vanilla bombs that are out there. Is HJ well balanced or is it more of a vanilla bomb?

Gah yeah you're right, I meant to put that part next to the "using a professional event company" bit, was a bit distracted at work (lol) while also following this thread.

 

Vanilla Bomb.... It balances out with some age.

 

You know the only way to answer that question is to try the beer.

 

That's not really for me then. I can't put a variant at the top of my list because it's popular or highly sought after. Just keeping it real.

 

I'd love to try it. I've never come across the opportunity to do so. Maybe I would end up liking it. Until then I'd have to assume I wouldn't as I'm not a fan of the vanilla bombs I have tried so far.

49ers fans stand up! The Bears essentially netted us Solomon Thomas and Reuben Foster. What an effin night!

 

It's gonna be so bad... The rain didn't seem to make too much of a difference for people getting guest taps, but with the fact upwards of half of the attendees will be sitting in variant lines all day make it so much worse. From a business standpoint, I really don't understand what FFF was thinking. It's almost like they would rather have people lining up early than spending money on guest taps, food, and merch.

 

Translation: We are going to wing it and see how it goes

 

I could honestly see that being their response.

 

Cool. Hopefully they'll have a legit way of handling this foreseeable clusterfu*k of an issue. Let's speculate on how they should handle this before we see their most likely silly solution.

 

Hopefully they hand out tickets, or wristbands? Lottery? Scratch offs? Or maybe we bring lawn chairs and set them in the mud, then that holds your place in line,

 

Never thought I'd want to see the golden ticket return, but if that is the only fair way to give out variants vs having to spend a day in line not participating in the fest....bring it back
