Thanks! We may just need to skip Tilquin and stick with the more local options.

    Hi all,

Final couple of questions to anyone who may know:

    1. Departure (bus route 10) is stated as "station Halle, Van de Peerenboomstraat". Is this Halle train station? Once at Halle station, is it obvious where to go to find the bus?

    2. If staying in Brussels, using the site (http://www.belgianrail.be/en/), is the best option to get a "WEEKEND TICKET INTERNET" from Brussels Central to Halle? Does this ticket cover just 1 return journey that weekend, or can it be used multiple times that weekend?

Apologies if any of those are stupid questions!

Hey, will also be going with friends to Brussels, staying from May 5 til 7th. plan on going to 3F, Cantillon, Tilquin, De Cam. didn't get any of the bus tickets also, so using trains and buses! PM me if anyone wants to get together, drink all there is at the breweries. Cheers!

The street mentioned is at the station itself, when on the station square there is a Panos. Sort of sandwich place, that is the street where it should stop. And probably just look for a bunch of Americans trying to find a bus, I'm pretty sure the bus will be easy to spot.

And for the train ticket, maybe get a key card. Costs 20 euro and you can travel from Brussels to Halle and Lembeek multiple times.

What happened to your post re: extra tickets for bus #10? I've been trying to reply to you for 2 days. Supposedly a mideratir has to approve my post?

hdtrice, I think your post got yanked. I guess tickets are only supposed to be posted in the the beer tickets forum. Seems like there are a lot of rules on this site. IMHO, It think it' would be better to keep all Toer de Gueze related posts in the same forum, instead of going to multiple forums, no? Anyway, if you still have the extra tickets can you post in the beer tickets forum. Thanks.

I got bus route #3, but I'm thinking of just driving around on Sat since I got rental for Friday (Cantillon, 3F Restaurant, 3F, De Heeren) and Sunday (Grote Dorst). If anyone wants to share the rental and our itineraries are familiar, let me know.

I'll be on bus 3 for Saturday. I plan to hit De La Senne Friday at 9am and then Cantillon at 10am. Let me know if anyone wants to crush some 'loons Friday morning.

I thought De La Senne only accepted groups of minimum 15 people booked in advance?

Given the level of 'hung-overness' Friday morning we might be up for an early start at Cantillon.

You're right, I didn't read that close enough. So I guess that just leaves more belly room for Cantillon

Looking for big enough group to commit to setup tour of lambik-o-Droom
Friday at 10 or 11 am or
    Monday at 10am.
Need 8 more for guided tour
Bus 4 does not visit 3F. Which now may have been mistake to do either end of weekend.
    Prost!
