Supposed to hit 70 today. This calls for a lighter beer.

Good morning BA, ahve a great Saturday! Looking to relax a bit today, got some work to catch up on today and tomorrow though. Planning on getting my music library cleaned up and updated this weekend. Found a bunch of new black metal bands I really need to have. Symphonic Black Metal is my new addiction.

Amazing as always, last of the 6 pack. Flavors of pineapple, grapefruit, tangerine, peach, lemon/orange zest, citrus rind, light mango, and pine hops; with wheat, bread, light honey malt balance; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Light-moderate pine, grassy, spicy bitterness. Medium bodied; balanced grainy malt creaminess and hop stickiness in the mouthfeel. Lightly resinous, with increasing bitter dryness; never astringent. Really well balanced IPA, classic Willamette and C hop flavors. Always a favorite. Been buying this more than IPA lately, my usual go-to Lagunitas beer.

Insane DIPA as always, just grabbed another fresh 4 pack this week. Bright hop flavors of lemon, orange, grapefruit, pineapple, peach, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, berry, citrus peel, light pepper, and pine hops; with light honey, bready malt balance; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Moderate pine resin/spicy bitterness. Balanced sticky/resinous hops and creamy/grainy malts in the mouthfeel. Increasing bitter dryness, no hop astringency. Highly drinkable and pretty crisp finishing. One of my top favorite DIPAs when fresh, seems to be easier to find lately. Very juicy/dank on hop characteristics and not overly resinous, just the right amount. Mosaic hops are the best, this is probably first one I ever had with them included. Definitely a top DIPA favorite.

Incredible as usual. Flavors of milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, cinnamon, vanilla, cream, nutmeg, chile pepper, caramel, brown sugar, toffee, and toasted brown bread. Light roast/spice bitterness on the finish. Medium-full bodied; great creamy/silky mouthfeel, with some light sticky/chalky roast/spice notes as well. Lightly drying. Zero pepper heat. Balance is pretty much perfect between spices and stout flavors. Got a couple more left, bought 3 packs this year. Will definitely stock up again when it comes back. This year's batch was definitely better than I recall when I reviewed the inital bomber release.

This is tasting insane! Flavors of huge lightly tart blueberries, milk chocolate, cocoa, caramel, toffee, fudge, vanilla, toasted coconut, bourbon, oak, and dark bread; with some lighter notes of molasses, licorice, and raisins. Light roasted bitterness and fruit tartness on the finish. Full bodied with an amazing creamy, silky, velvety, and rich mouthfeel. Some light roast malt chalkiness and fruit acidity as well. Touch of drying character from roast and fruit acidity. Never cloyingly sweet for me at all, but definitely a dessert beer. Insanely smooth sipper, very mildly warming 10.5%. A near perfect balance of berries, cocoa/vanilla, malt, and barrel character. Tons of flavor complexity, but it all comes together extremely well. I've always been a big fan of fruit stouts, so I'm not surprised how much I love this one. Seems pretty polarizing to most people. Still have a few left. I kept buying more since they recently became shelf sitters. Completely worth the price for me. Will grab more if I see 'em.

Good morning and happy Saturday BAs!
I have found the perfect antidote to the cloudy dreary weather outside.
Lone Pint Brewing's Yellow Rose IPA!!
It's a SMASH (single malt and single hop) I think it's mosaic.
This stuff is very good. Dank for days, floral, piney and very drinkable.
Definitely the pride of Texas y'all!
    Cheers amigos!

Remember this guy? Cracked it while making pancakes this morning for the family and drinking really really nice. Guess it's kind of tacky to keep the sale price on the bottle - I think I must have picked this one up after it had been around for awhile.

Back from long walk with the dogs this hot, cloudy morning. I received some wonderful Pale Ales and IPAs (thanks @Number1Framer ), including this beauty - "Double Daisy Cutter" a double pale ale from Half Acre Beer Company, Chicago, IL:

Cooking and packing today, as we will head out on perhaps our biggest adventure yet, tomorrow. Have a great Saturday y'all!

This incredible - much better than the regular version. The maple is noticeable but not overly sweet and the rye gives it a hint of spiciness.
