WF Columbus Circle had it maybe 2 weeks ago, but not sure if still there... Bread & Honey on 8th / 55th always gets a ton of Greenpoint - they have plenty of the two latest, Biodome and Resitst, but I think interstellar may be SO...

I usually go to WF Bryant Park and have seen Greenpoint there many times. I was just there this morning, and Interstellar was sold out. :slight_frown:

Did anybody else have an issue with getting both new releases this week? On Thursday I traveled in traffic for two hours just to try and get some of this beer. When I arrived the bar maid told me I could only get 1 4pk or 1 case. So I told her I would take 2 4pks 1 of each. She told me I could only have 1 4pk and of 1 kind. Even if I bought a case she told me I could not do a half and half case. It could only be of 1 kind. It was so strange since there was no mention of this on Twitter or Instagram. I was so disappointed since I could only pick 1. After that I went to interboro and they let me get 1 4pk of each and a 4pk of there last release. Interboro is now my new favorite spot. Both of the ipa's were on point.......sooo good. Greenpoint needs to step their customer service up and be more communicative on their posts.

I got a 4 pack of each at Bread and Honey. Paid a bit extra, no doubt, but no hassles.

That was my original plan to get one of each but only got Resist after trying both. So I can't help u there. Bio dome was ok, just not on par with other DIPAs they put out for me. Total agree about Interboro. My new favorite place.
But did traveling 2 hours in traffic take u back in time? (Barmaid?)

Sometimes i dont think the bartenders there know whats going on. Pretty much every bottle shop within a mile radius of the brewery has cans though...

Man U need a spoon to have Resist. Drinks like a bowl of oats & hops. Maybe a little to heavy on the oats with this one. Not bad... just very filling.

I'm drinking Resist now, which is pretty good, but wondering, given the can art (solidarity fists of various ethnicities), and the copy on the back that reads, "A modern IPA for a progressive cause. Hop heads unite! Organize, march, drink, resist!" is any of the money made off this actually being donated to a progressive cause? Seems like an empty message otherwise.

Is that really their policy it's 1 4pk or 1 case of beer? That's completely absurd if so. Or just a clueless "barmaid"?

I can second that services at the bar is awful, which is why I don't make the trip up there as often as I would like.

I called and asked and they said there would be no issues with getting one four pack of each. This person seemed to know the drill? I'd ask to speak with someone else if anyone tells you only one four pack or case of each in the future, even if it may seem a little obnoxious.

Back to the beer though - anyone have any feedback on Biodome? The hop hash seems intriguing, is it worth the $20 for a four-pack?

Curious for more info about Resist as well, the reviews for both beers here and elsewhere are pretty sparse.

It's been nearly 2 weeks since I had both so my exacts are a little foggy, but I preferred Resist to Biodome. Look-wise, smell-wise, taste-wise. Resist is a superb IPA whereas Biodome just seemed to be missing something.

I really enjoyed both... different styles... the resist was more straight up juicy style heavy oats and wheat.. the Bio Dome was more dank, resiny and pine with tropical flavors and more pronounced bitterness (but still soft), kind of a east coast / west coast hybrid that was very well done.
