    Good morning and happy Saturday, BA's! Welp, fire season started early down here in Southern California :slight_frown:. Yay. Crazy winds right now too, which are not helping. Plenty of yard sales because of the winds, if you know what I mean :wink:. Anyhoo, The Staff would like to wish you all a wonderful weekend and submit another Glass of the Day Awards!

    GotD:     To one of the biggest advocates of proper, @Highbrow for another beautiful post with this Prairie glencairn. Cheers and congrats!
    2nd: Two gold rimmed wine goblets snag the second place honors for @LongTaco15 . If I didn't know better, sure looks like those belonged to a place of worship at one time. Sinner :stuck_out_tongue:.
    3rd: Third place going out to @tolar111 for this finely crafted pilsner flute.

    Honorable mentions go out to @dmbforever for a couple of stemmed gems, and to @dcotom 's kick starter to the thread yesterday for this awesome hurricane glass. And another special honorable mention goes out again to Alyssa for @dcotom 's wonderful hand painted thistle (which will perpetually be honored on the GotD's any time it is used :sunglasses:).

    Hertog Jan Grand Prestige 2016. Have some of these stashed away in the attic. Checking how it is developing :grinning:

    Also recapping this one. This beer is not extremely boozy (just a bit), but I like to try how that works out and hopefully still have some enjoyable beer tomorrow. Using a rubber recap normally intended for wine (see picture below).
