What would be cool is if they do have a holding area for each group, if they put on variants during for each group to consume during their time in the holding area.

 

You may want to look into employing one as well.

I seem to remember last year's weather as worse than today. It was drizzling at 6am and just kept getting heavier by the hour. I remember around 5 the wind and heavy rain was pretty rough.

Last year the festival was what I thought the definition of a beautiful disaster . Cant wait for this years!

 

It wasn't as cold last year as it was today. It was 41 degrees at 8.30. Last year sucked, but I somehow think today could have been worse.

This year's weather is definitely worse. It obviously wasn't as bad early in the day, but this shit sucks today. There's no way it could be worse in two weeks....right??!!??

I got my shipment of Rye BA Vietnamese Speedway Stout from my buddy yesterday, so one of those is officially coming to DLD. I'm definitely bringing a bottle of Supplication (2014) as well, and most likely a Double Barrel Big Bad Baptist and No Rules from this year. Others are still TBD - thinking I need some other lighter type beers - some saisons and/or fresh IPA's to balance out the bigger stouts.

 

Im starting to think I should bring more IPA/DIPAs than I planned on. Last year I saw so many half consumed imperial stouts, it was kind of sad seeing them sitting there. Everyone was excited when they were opened but after a few pours someone else would just chime in with 'hey, anyone want some of this?' and the previous bottle would basically be abandoned.

I'm thinking bringing 50:50 stouts: IPAs now.

 

That RBAVSS sounds great.

 

I think I'm gonna do the same.

Also, because you don't mind pouring sharing half a glass with someone should they want it.
