Hey, they haven't fucked up yet. The fest happens in two weeks. Maybe... MAYBE.... they will surprise us all and have a system in place that makes sense and doesn't require later groups to stand in line all day... or even allow it. Maybe?

 

I think we can all agree that when you get a large group of men together after copious gallons of double digit abv beers, very little could go wrong.

But to protest Trump, that cash will be strictly pesos....

 

You know if they had vouchers, even if people bought them at kiosks, they would bitch about not using them all and want a refund or try to use them at a later date like last year.

 

I liked the vouchers last year.... I stayed until close and multiple people gave me their vouchers on their way out because they couldn't use them. I got like $40 in free vouchers and thus free variant pours.

 

Seems like they could solve the whole thing by getting a batch of scratch-off tickets printed up equal to the number of each variant, mix them up and hand them out like they used to do the golden tickets. For less than the cost of one admission, they could alleviate the need for anyone to rush and line up whatsoever.

 

So 100 pesos for a pour!

No one wants random variants. Even when they were doing golden tickets it was first come first served. Random is super dumb.

 

Considering they don't exist, absolutely.

 

I want random. Better than the guaranteed low demand variant (or vintage) I am going to get since I'm not willing to stand in line all day.

 

Yea everyone always wants them to randomize but then people will just complain about the variant the randomly got...

 

Well, I say let them complain...

I think it'd be more beneficial to all if they just straight bourbon barrel aged enough DL to go around.

Which leads me to the question from more than a few pages back, why haven't they done rum yet?

 

I wonder if Ja Rule would agree with this now.

I love how seamlessly we are now able to connect Ja Rule with DLD.

 

Haha hey man, I've been to DLD. Last year I got a Handjee. There was a definite sarcastic edge to my post that existed in my head and probably didn't come through on the internet. I just really don't want to see queued up group lines all day. It seems so mind bendingly stupid and counter-intuitive to last years process.

 

Last year people sucked and ruined a good thing. Why do people always have to fucking complain.

 

Build on the random idea....bottles with no labels, and you only find out what variant you have when you open the bottle and the beer name is etched on the inside of the bottle cap.....

That was the initial release. It was deemed unethical to sell silence so it had to be pulled from the shelves.
