Had it on tap at the tasting room yesterday, those of you who were able to get a bottle are in for a real treat. So much chocolate and raspberry, it's amazing.

Their Stasis beers (BA stouts, etc.) and special release cans are Eventbrite only. They usually have their core lineup of IPAs/DIPAs/Saisons in the fridge for purchase, and there's often at least one Stasis beer on tap. Another option is to set up an IP trade for a Stasis beer, although it will likely require pretty heavy trade ammo. :grinning:

He's from the east coast. PPL here will let go on BA adjunct stouts for 2 cans of Julius without batting an eye.

Ha..it begins...Jam the Radar posted for $299 with a $399 buyout on one of those secondary sale sites.

Hype trumps intelligence all the time it seems.

you better put a decimal in there before a 9. If I owned a bottle I would easily let it go for that amount to someone dumb enough to pay that much. Having had it on draft before, the beer is great, but not near 15x the bottle price good

Anyone who pays these prices must just be rich. You don't drop 200-400 dollars on one bottle unless money aint a thaang.

Jam the Radar is probably top 3 of my favorite BL beers ever, but that's ridiculous.

I mean... that sounds spot on. Who want's to trade me a VR for one?

Have any of you watched the documentary on wine fraud called Sour Grapes? They spotlight the culture as well as individuals who participate in the rare wine community. There's no reason why the same mentality (and income) that propels people to drop $$$$$$ on wine won't spill over into beer. $400 is a drop in the bucket with tons of disposable income.

I love berry forward ba stouts...how does Jam the Radar compare to Backyard or Regal Rye? Better, same or worse?

I enjoyed both those variants (backyard > regal), but I concur. JtR for the win.

Btw, for those who have not seen Spaceballs please do yourself a favor and go watch it.

Is this a documentary? It's old but not black and white so... it's a documentary?

Impressive comments.... I think Regal Rye is absolutely excellent.

Is JtR anything like Lindley Park ?

IMO, JtR is far better than LP. As the JtR name suggests, there's a real jammy flavor with a fruity tang as opposed to a sugary aftertaste.

Also, the JtR barrel taste is warm - no harshness. I've had Lindlley Park twice and it falls short of the depth and richness of JtR.

I know I'm supposed to homer up and say JtR is superior, but I personally preferred Backyard. My previous draft experience with JtR was that it was quite tasty and raspberry forward, but a bit fusel out the gate...

Your chances are pretty much 100% youll get some bottle logic. As the location itself will be open.

Eventbrite only for stasis releases with a two week pickup window. For a while releases seemed to be monthly but they hasnt been the case lately. November should put you at least in Darkstar territory, depending on when in the month it hits.
