They do sell their own soda - it is usually pretty good.

    Amen to that.

You witness it every week when folks line up to buy four-packs for 14 bucks and up (mostly up). And when you consider this is direct sales (no cuts from wholesale distributors and retailers) there is tons of profit here!!

    Cheers!

    Thanks for the clarification.

Of course this then forced me to google Himalayan Salt Lamps, and I had a good laugh at the pseudoscience bullshit I read.

Sounds like it's the New Age Beer Scene. If Jean Broillet believes in the magical powers of crystals and stuff, then maybe he really does believe Tired Hands beer is "transcendental", "other worldly", etc. It's starting to all make sense now.....

I wouldn't take the stuff too seriously, it is more of a decoration type thing and for some of the stuff a conection to the zen, spiritual, meditation type thing then actually believing salt and crystals heal physical problems

I think synths refers to synthetic drugs like MDMA. who knows what the kids are into these days.

obviously they won't be selling illegal drugs. some people refer to these synthetic drugs as bath salts. I would be surprised if they sold those or anything similar but makes more sense that synthesizers.

I'm trying to figure what the new beer today will actually taste like. The tasting notes they offered don't seem to match up with the given ingredients/abv.

If you were high off your ass while tasting, you'd probably pick up those tasting notes too :grinning:

I agree, doesn't make me want to lay down $20 to find out. Not a fan of Stone's Delicious IPA, which used lemon drop hops. Hopefully it's heavier on the Citra/Galaxy.

You're right. No one should ever say anything bad about Tired Hands and their precious beer.

I don't see the "vibe" at Tired Hands being consistent with selling bath salts, which to me is more of a Florida NASCAR fan thing. Then again, there's no way that these guys actually learned how to build synthesizers and are selling them commercially. Maybe they're selling used synths (Korg, Moog, etc) but they're painting them first with demons and pentagrams.
