    It's classified as an American Double / Imperial IPA, but I've heard it called an "extreme" IPA. I'd agree with that assessment.

    LIC's Samo (or is it supposed to be SAMO :astonished:?) IPA; 7% abv; featuring Cascade, Centennial, Citra, and Simcoe hops; canned 4/4...

    Whoa! :grimacing: Immediate magic on the very first sip!

    Aromas burst with tropical fruit impressions, edged with something more pine-like and dank... The flavors include a big dose of melon - cantaloupe in particular - with shades of mango, pineapple, and peach... soft and airy, well-carbonated and almost creamy... super impressed with this - drank all-too quickly...

    One-can limits are a bummer, but I wouldn't have known how much until now anyway... :grinning:





    Chiming in because I've been... "reads-dropping" :rolling_eyes: *groans from the crowd*
    I thought of it as an "American strong ale" - though I suppose that's as much a description as it is a category... Most "American strong ales" (that I've had, anyway) were more amber than pale, but aside from it's color, it seemed to fit in there for me, too...

    If RuinTen is, I don't see why The Waldos' wouldn't be.
