For info directly from their website

Their new online shop is open. Check out their gorgeous glassware and shirts.

Nice pics on their instagram feed: https://www.instagram.com/grimmales/

Grimm beers are usually in high demand (especially the cans). Cans have been limited to low counts per person. Grimm Artisanal Ales supply their beers at low prices (and have NOT raised their prices recently) to the distributor, who supply the retail shops, and therefore are not responsible for the final price you may encounter. They try to support the "Mom and Pop" shops that sell their beer. Hopefully, we should all support these small shops. Also available at select Whole Foods beer departments with limits to spread the wealth among your fellow BA brethren. :sunglasses:

The latest fitness craze has been the checking of this thread and Beermenus for their cans/bottles and running around town trying to get them before inventory is sold out. Needed exercise for some of our fellow beer enthusiasts. :grinning: If you miss out, you can usually find their beer on tap.

Post away and yes, Joe and Lauren (the Grimm's) monitor this thread and are great about responding to your questions and comments. Especially, if you tag them @Grimm_Artisanal_Ales. Great people, great couple, great brewers.

    Artwork

The beautiful Grimm artwork on their labels is designed by Lauren, about 50% from scratch and the rest using Gretta Johnson's (their longtime friend) artwork. Gretta did the artwork for Sugarmaker, In Mid-Air, and Candlepower.

Check out http://grettajohnson.com/ for more about this talented artist.

The artwork on the Splish can is by Joe's old band mate, and incredible artist, Brian Alfred.

The artwork on Lambo Door, Awoogah, Light Year, Skyspace, Lumen, and Blackberry Orange Pop! is by the amazing Lauren Grimm. She can do it all!

The artwork for Sumi Ink label is by Sumi Ink Club (http://sumiinkclub.com/)

Their friend Maggie (Margaux Ogden) did the Zap design (http://www.margauxogden.com/paintings)

    Can advice:

Keep cold! Drink Now! Roll can to suspend hop particles.

Yeah had it a few nights ago. It was very good! My order on their sours (from what I've had) would have to be Cuvee #4 > Psychokinesis > Vacay. Excited to try Rainbow Dome and see where that lands.

By the way, was curious as to what everyone's favorite Grimm artwork is. I'm pretty partial to Double Negative, and Afterimage. Really love Gretta Johnson style, and how she captures bodies in motion, and the mystery behind the action of the figures. Where are the cloaked figures running to (or from)? Some of the figures on the Afterimage art have this...bulge protruding out of their heads. Was trying to figure out what that is. Personally, I think it's a clown hat, which makes me think that all the dancers are circus performers or something. Anyway, was wondering what other people here enjoyed.

We aren't building a kitchen. But we hope to have something good to offer, whether it's food trucks, food from an outside vendor, or something simple we can prepare on site.

pop and dome definitely. halftone and liquid crystal hopefully.

DDH Tesseract?!?!?!?!?!?! Can't wait! Will this be dry hopped with mosaic, falconer's, citra, or a combo? Is Afterimage the only other beer you've DDH'ed so far? Any thoughts on dry hopping with lupulin powder? Cheers!

Afterimage isn't really "double dry hopped" -- i guess it depends on what you mean. Many of our beers have always received two dry hop additions but we don't refer to them as DDH. We're thinking that the DDH label is useful as a way to indicate the presence of lupulin powder (or cryo pellets). We were running up against the physical limit of how much hop material can fit into a beer with standard pellets, but because the new cryo products have less green plant matter you can effectively double the dosage while adding the same number of pounds of hops.... which, essentially we've already maxed out.

DDH Tesseract will be our first proper foray into cryo hops and will be the same as regular Tesseract (two DH additions) but the mosaic will be mosaic lupulin powder instead of pellets, effectively doubling the dry hop dosage.
