    Hey all,

Not sure why nothing was posted about this. Party was awesome today, cable car 16 and veritas 19 on tap for more than 3 hours. It was not too crowded, 10 tasters for $30 and all pours were 1 ticket. Glad everyone is over lost abbey, cause that is how an anniversary party should be.

I haven't been checking the forums in a while and see things have changed. I went to the anniversary party too and expected it to be short of a shit-show. I was pleasantly surprised showing up 2 hours late and still getting several pours of all the beers offered. Glad the hype is gone, it created a really nice atmosphere last Saturday.

The hype train has definitely left the building. While I definitely don't like the way they handled the DDG release, Veritas 019 is a great beer. The beer community definitely let the hate overtake the quality of one of the best sours they've released. Say what you will about Lost Abbey, but they know how to make a raspberry sour. Framboise de Amarosa is criminally underrated. Way better then a lot of beers that get the trade frenzy.

High price point combined with multiple instances of shitty customer service will have that effect on a brand.

To me it was high price point, I'll tolerate $30- $35 a bottle from them.
