You must live next door to the brewery to have tried all those rare releases! I just wish I had been able to try Palm Reader and Pale Joe.

That might just be because Founders unequivocally makes the some of the best widely available stouts and porters in the U.S.

Dangerously close! But it's not my fault that they built the brewery right on the way home from work, is it?

Point is, I try maybe 200 beers a year. but Founders Oatmeal Breakfast Stout remains my all around favorite beer. I love quite a few other Founder's, but I just want this post to be a shout out to the the baby in the high chair.

If you love FBS, you should try Brasserie Dieu du Ciel! Péché Mortel, a Canadian Coffee Stout widely available in the US. I preferred it over FBS, though FBS is still good.

Their porter and breakfast stout are two of my favorite beers of all time. I am a huge fan of backwoods bastard and their imperial stout too. To add a 5th beer it has to be KBS. Apparently, I am a fan of their dark beers much more than their pale beers.

Love Founders. I've been to the brewery once and it was a great experience. I've had CBS a couple of times but since it's not very regular, will not include it, although it is terrific.

    KBS
    FIS
    Porter (regular for me)
Devil Dancer (yes, I love it)
Sumatra Brown (getting ready to pour one right now!)

Goddamn, I forgot about Harvest Ale. I should have put that instead of All Day IPA. Harvest Ale is their best hoppy beer, imo. Centennial IPA is also good for what it is. I just put All Day IPA because it's the best hoppy craft beer I can get in cans in 15 packs in grocery stores and even convenient stores around here, and it's a great beer to session outdoors on hot days.
