    Cheers you all! I was thinking that these mash bags would make good reusable cheese cloth. Morning. =)

    Leo v. Ursus
    Pours clear yellow with a stream of bubbles to show you a white head that never falls completely. Dank pineapple and grasses. peach notes as it warms. Drinks well with soft flavors and only a little alcohol to warm on the way down. Malt is lush and the hops are fruity. Catty weeds mix with stone fruit and citrus. Bitterness is not too strong and the beer finishes with no astringency, medium dry.

    I must say, that is the coolest bottle opener I have ever seen. Serpentine curvature is quite pleasing/striking to the eyes.

    Good morning, all! Well, thanks to Photobucket, my New Beer Sunday turned into New Beer Monday. Anyway, this is Asahi Super Dry, the poster child for truth in advertising. Not much character when cold; however, as it warms a bit, some herbal grassiness, a touch of sweetness from the malt and adjuncts, and some nice bitterness begin to come through. Bone-dry finish, as expected. This is nowhere near as bad as the ratings would indicate. I'm at 3/5 on it. As always, YMMV.

    A special treat for Sunday dinner at the group home. Takes a little extra time, but it's worth it.

    A frosty start this morning, but the bright sun is warming things up quickly. Took the mutts for their walk and now I'm watching Dan Patrick while I wait for the grass to dry. Monday has become the mowing day lately with all the weekend activities.:slight_frown:

    On the bright side my phone issues are finally resolved. I haven't backed up my photos in a while and my storage capacity was obliterated. I spent a couple of hours deleting them and appear to have things running smoothly again. Those damn beer photos!:astonished:

    My first beer from Foley Brothers that isn't an IPA. Nice unique tasting stout with Hawaiian coffee beans and roasted cacao nibs. Cheers!
