I'll be in Seattle May 9th-May11th. Going to Dark Lord Day on May 13th and was hoping to pick up a few things to bring with me to share. Any recommendations of things I might find during that time or any releases during this timeframe?

Also, any good events going on while I'm in town?

I'll second the Harbour House on Bainbridge. The food is amazing! Possibly the best chowder I've ever head. And the clams/muscles are off the charts too. Well worth the usual wait.

On a related note, Washington State Ferries are serving some damn tasty Washington craft beers on the ferries these days.

Sadly, I won't be attending SBW17 (looks like a lot of cool events), but I sure am digging the week's official beer - Bale Breaker's Fresh Off the Farm IPA. Was pleasantly surprised to stumble across this (@woemad , I was at Mid Columbia seeing if Bigfoot had arrived yet, nope, still strange because we used to get it, didn't think it was so limited). Canned Apr 17th. A sixer can disappear quickly.

Very nice. If it's there, I might actually find it this far east.

Damn you guys are lucky. Had some pretty good beers and great food while there. Had KBS on tap at Eureka! In the u village and b bomb. Hit up bottleworks and chucks. Had a few beers at Fremont, Reuben's, and stoup. Loved the Fremont dark star and the sister. Stoup had a really good motueka sour and the mosaic pale ale was one of my favorites of the whole trip. Had a taster at Reuben's but I think the server messed up the tray and numbers so it was hard to tell what was what other then the style. The beers were good though. My other highlight beers were basically Everything I had
    Black Raven- coco jones porter
    Georgetown- bodhizafa
Bale breaker- fresh off the farm, field 41, bottom cutter, top cutter
    Skookum- mocha perked porter
Modern times- booming rollers and fortunate island
    Melvin- 2x4 and IPA

Overall a great trip and great beer!

Seeing people asking about BA Fremont goodies sitting on the shelves lately. So here you go. Coded message below.

I found bottles of Bbomb yesterday near some Maple Leafs. Drop everything you're doing and hurry before they run out of the Last one.

Last time I actually said what shop had a specific item I got a very long winded and verbose private message. So yeah. :-/

Some in the fraternity are constantly raiding the cupboards and fridge, eating over bros' food.

As long as they're not green. Pink. I think some nice, cute, pink shirts would help us uphold our status.
