I don't know how to paste movies, but while reading the text on the instagram post I can't help but think of the movie The Perfect Storm, when shooter mcgavin is describing the storms colliding over the atlantic.
"We have a triple dry hopped beer coming from the east, a single dry hopped AND DOUBLE DRY HOPPED version from the west....if this comes together, it would be... the perfect storm"

I think the old OH policy worked best, start with low limits to make sure as much people get beer as possible and then once it gets slow increase the limits.

I really appreciate the fact that you referred to him as "Shooter McGavin" rather than his actual name or the character he plays in The Perfect Storm haha.

A three 4-pack limit on each beer would be more than enough to satisfy me. I tend to only buy two of each at releases these days. Doesn't make sense to stock up when there's gonna be more great beer next week.

Really? Do we have to hear complaints about limits on every damn thread? And then complaints about complaints about limits? Come on.

And then we have to hear your complaints about the complaints about complaints?

    Yeah...it gets tiring.

I think the only people buying max allotments are jersey / long island / PA people...would be cool to have weekday releases for locals who don't feel the need to wheel out 6 cases on a dolly

Looking like is gonna be another crazy beer release weekend. New cans at Interboro Thursday, Singlecut Friday, 4 cans at Other Half, Pile of Crowns at LIC and 2 cans at Finback on Saturday. OH and 4 cans at Magnify. Maybe that will stop people from leaving with cases of each?

Sorry Mom, I know it's Mother's Day weekend but do you mind standing in line at Finback while I go to Other Half? I promise, the line goes pretty quick. :stuck_out_tongue::grinning:

"And, mom, since tomorrow is Mother's Day, I'll give you a can of each, on the house, because I love you."
"Only one of each, didn't you just say you love me??"
"Oh Mom, don't be silly, I have to trade the rest, duh!"

Has no one synced up all this typical release banter to the ****** rant video? Seems like it would pair nicely.

I have no idea how anyone could possibly justify buying multiple 4-packs of each of these releases for personal consumption (from an economic perspective and a health perspective).. And that's coming from someone who spends way too much money drinking way too much beer. It's weekends like this that make me wish these breweries would sell by-the-can a la Trillium.

Eh...if I was smarter and/or lived further away from OH, I'd get together with a few buddies and take turns going to can releases. One person can't consume/trade a full allotment, but half a dozen can.

Well at least the weather is on the side of those of us unwilling or unable to stand on a line for three hours. Current forecast looks almost as bad as last Friday, so if you are going maybe bring a canoe to ship your beers back home!
