People pay 200.00 for 4 bottles of Huna...granted the quest taplist is a large reason why people go, but 6 regular darklord at 30.00 a pop is not crazy money.

 

Must've found more vintages of Dark lord so they're going to empty all their cellar like wicked weed did prior to selling to InBev.....similar antics?!?!

So, is the Mother of Dreadnought really Friday's beer? We only touched on it once here, and on the FB group there was an untappd screenshot.

No. It was made available at the kiosk today.

 

I don't even know how that'd be possible. The last several years when you were in line to get in it was just one single line (one at the north gate and one at the south gate). As you walked through the entrance they would check your bags. If you didn't have a bag you walked thru.

 

Yeah, and all those guest taps at Huna run dry in no time. And the lines...

 

...and the inability to share in those lines...and the heat...

Weren't there cattle gates on the North end that people couldn't just walk back in?

 

I'm not exactly sure about re-entry as I've never left until it was time to go home. There was the cattle gates at the North but there weren't any at the south.

There's an exception to that, generally--they'd just have to consider it a "sporting event" like boxing or UFC.

There's also the exception that this is a completely hypothetical bar conversation, so logic and facts are nullified.

 

Those have rules and safety regulations as well though.

 

This is a joke right? There's 300 choice breweries all pouring awesome stuff. Whale-y stuff can run dry, but most people with Whales stagger their tappings. It's a great event, and much better than DLD. Oh and 70 degrees and sunny? Heck yes? No waiting in lines all day? Heck yes. Don't have to bring your own beer? Heck yes. No thieves? Heck yes. A better beer than DL? Heck yes. As a DL vet, the 2 aren't even close to comparable at this point. One is a fun pleasent atmosphere the other is work. Hunah was the best beer event I've ever been too. Maybe GTOM will beat it but still.

Of course, it's now taken down, but I happened to be searching around in the merch section and DLD tickets were randomly on sale. Not trying to troll, but it's gone now. Any people looking for last minute tickets might want to keep checking the merch section.....
