Once again, I would like to thank @Phyl21ca for coordinating this CANBIF. It is such an awesome way to get connected to new and different beers. It is clear that Alberta has some catching up to do in terms of beer production, but many Alberta breweries are starting to do great things. Aside from CANBIF, I haven't done much trading, but would definitely be keen to set something up before the next round comes along.

 

I was just coming down the steps at about 6pm and happened to catch a postal van driving away. Fortunately I thought to look on the front steps! Low and behold there's my box, left sitting in the wide open, but hey, just in time for the weekend!

Tore it open like a kid on Christmas morning to find a very generous supply of mostly Ontario beers, also Quebec, Michigan, Colorado, and Vermont represented. Mostly new to me - excited for the Heady! I've had it before but it's years ago now.

Thanks a bunch to Brian Currie for putting together a pretty stellar box of beer! I'll try and post my pics tonight.

Also thanks to Phyl21ca for the organization! First time taking part and I'm excited for the next one already!

1. Is that your homemade kegerator?
2. Is 'American water' a keg of Bud Light?

Nice haul btw. I have really dug watching this thread from the sidelines, as always. I really hope the timing will fall right for me to participate in the next round (he says for the umpteenth time).

2. Bud light on all 8 taps, just under different names. Isn't that what ABI is starting to do now?

I always preferred Tartar Control Duff.
