I am, in no way, an authority on lagers, and couldn't honestly say if one was true to style, but I've gone through a couple of 4 packs of Three Magnets Scherler Gold Pilsner and really enjoyed it! I'm also intrigued by Reuben's r&R Pils, although the 22 oz. format is off putting to me.
With that said, and already aware of Chuckanut and Heater Allen's reputation, what are some other local lagers to seek out?

Silver City Ziggy Zoggy is a take on zwickelbier, found in nearly any supermarket this time of year, and damn tasty. Another blue-canned lager in supermarket sixers is Crux' Pils.

Though it's been while, I enjoy Orlison's Havanüther, which is lighter pils, but has a nice, breadth middle to it.

Thanks for starting this thread @itracy63! Block 15 Gloria is my favorite locally available pilsner. HM's three fates is also worth checking out but it's a little pricey for He style and brewery only.

r & R, was not good. The only "r" I got out of it was the 'rRhea. Probably, thanks in part to rainier.

Yeah, it's a style I've never really delved into in 20+ years of drinking beer and, to be honest, I'm a little burned out on hops right now, be it NE, West Coast or anything in between.

Upright and pFriem Pils are still two of the best in my book. The Helles lager from pFriem isn't bad either.

Havanüther has pretty much gone bye-bye, though it could pop up again as a limited summer seasonal. Only regular Orlison lagers these days are Clem's Gold and IPL (both in 12-ounce cans).

Yeah I've learned to appreciate light lagers and pils in the last few years as well. I especially enjoy how well these beers pair with food and warm weather.

Serious? That's too bad. Oh well. Those tallboys were my local lager go-to a few years back, but at least now we have more options available.

I can't speak to their canned beers, because I haven't had any in much too long, but Occidental makes some terrific lagers, including a wonderful draft Edel-Hell.

I am also a big fan of Upright Engelberg Pilsner, which got me drinking pilseners again after I shunned the style for years.

Buoy makes a good pilsner too, and it's available in bottles.

The adventurous among you should try the excellent rauchbiers from Heater Allen, The Commons, and pFriem. They will make you a believer.

Chuckanut and Heater Allen are the PNW gold standards. Upright, Pfriem, Crux and Holy Mountain (current batch of cans finally sold out at the brewery) are all solid, and that Reubens/Rainier collab should not be ignored.

I agree with pretty much everything that's already been said here which I've had the chance to try and also wanted to throw in Deluxe Brewing. I've only had a handful of their offerings but have enjoyed them thoroughly - Sintillator Doppelbock, Pure Sin Schwarz, Resurrection Pilsner, & Wild Beaver Amber Lager.

    Cheers!

I'm not hitting like for this because Havanüther was one of my favorite beers from them.

If you get over to Spokane and enjoy an IPL, try the one from Perry Street. Used to be a seasonal, but after winning gold for it at GABF, it's pretty much available year round now.
