1- Long entry line moved quickly
2- group a folks line with group b folks after 11:00, but fff said it's okay because of the long entry line, didn't have to wait until 7.
3- scored fvm as variant(thought for sure I'd be cursed)
    4- food lines not
    Too bad
5-missed out on Ronaldo and ba dl by a few people on separate occasions
6- met brewer of forbidden root and told him to keep up the amazing work. Yeah, I'm a dick, but you do great beer so take the advert promotion!

My wife and I both got Chemtrailmix. Traded one near shuttle pickup for a de Muerte. Need to do a batch Untapped checkin from today's bottle shares. Overall, a very good day. Off to Columbus.

7- tried chentrail mix- solid beer
8-- got a taste of temec 3000 not as bad as people make it out. Look f forward to cracking mine.
9- high fives a da shirt wearer
10- fff being overly douchey with people trying to get variants
11-talks to dude in DA shirt with badge initials S.P.
    12. Props to guys at exit who traded a muerte for two 2017 dls. Looking forward to ticking tbis with friends
13- thanks to guys in entry line for narrow gauge sample- great beer, but on par with Chicago's beSt

Group A... Both of us got muerte. Yay? I hate to say it, but this might be our last DLD. Just too frustrating to go from believing we have our choice of variant when we got the tickets to ending up with what we both consider our worst possible choice (even below vintage).

Being a Group A and knowing many people that went thereafter, I don't see many people getting vintages. Is it possible that distribution is not as random as previously thought and Group E is in for disappointment? Or was the alleged variant shortage exaggerated?

Really wish I could have made the trip this year, especially seeing how likely FVM would have been. Guess I'll have to hold it over my new daughters head as the ultimate guilt for the rest of her life....

Yes. Saw lots of blue and burgundy colored bottles on the table when we went through A. About middle of the group is where I think we were based on line flow.

Home from DLD. Had a blast. Met some BA people...have no idea of anyone's name anymore. But shoutout to the BA'er in the Dragon abortion shirt who surprised me with a sweet hamburger while I was "napping" on the pavement by the tent/grassy knoll. If you read this let me know so I can re-remember who it was that saved me! Hahaha.

Also if you saw me "napping" feel free to give a shout out as well. Burgundy t shirt that said Vintage 1973, sunglasses. That was me.

I think I am probably done with Dark Lord Day after this year as well. 200 bucks with no control over what you get. I got Chemtrail mix and my wife got Muerte- literally my two last choices after fucking vintage- which is what the other guy in our group got.

Haven't heard anything about guest taps or taps in general. How were they?

I have rarely been impressed with the taps at dld. I missed all of the vintages. They were a few interesting collabs, but nothing I would go out of my way to get.

I heard Chemtrail Mix is awesome. Someone said it tastes like Cinnamon Toast Crunch. It kicked right before I got up to order it.

That was a good dark lord day. Big thanks to the dragon abortion shirt guy with the cantillon iris, I was about done with the day after the constant sunlight. I cannot believe I am complaining about the heat this year, overall good taps, good organization, relatively fast lines given the good weather
