Still drinking my DDH Juicy Bits clone. It's dropping clear in the bottles, I can see my fingers through the glass. It's still a tasty ass beer. Lots of ripe fruit, orange rind, a bit of dankiness rounding it out. I can't wait to get through this beer, next ipa is going to be clear, and heavy on Chinook, Columbus, and dryhopped with citra.

APA made with Golden Promise malt and combo of Columbus and Mosaic, mainly late hopped, whirlpool hopped, and dry hopped. Ratio was close to 1:1 - would go with less Columbus next time, seems to be cancelling out some of the fruitier flavors from the mosaic.

I can finally post here! After a 5 year hiatus I am now drinking my first homebrew. A quick Extract Hefe, which is ok but not my best one. Still after 5 years drinking something I brewed again is so great. I am rebuilding my mash tun this weekend so I'll be back to All-Grain and my old recipes in no time!

This is my second pull from my solera. So, basically, a blend of one and two year old sour beer. Then it sat on 10 pounds (2 pounds per gallon) of sour cherries for 3 months.

Citra Eureka Amarillo IPA with juice yeast Double dryhopped with the trio plus Columbus. First time I've gotten onion from Columbus Dryhop but it's super dank too.
Other 5 gal is double dryhopped with mosaic in place of Columbus. Both tasty Columbus version is dank while mosaic is tropical

Finishing off the rest of my 'cold weather' beers (I'm in San Diego, so that means low 60s. Ha ha!). One is an attempt at an Old Rasputin clone. Came pretty close. I used wlp007 in it, and fermented at the high end of the range, and got a bit more character than I was looking for. I might go with a more neutral strain next time, and see how it goes. Probably wlp001. The other is my first go at a wee heavy. Came out great. Final gravity was a tad higher than I would like at 1.030, but still well within the range for the style. I'll have to tweak it a bit, but I should be able to get into the mid to low 1.020s, which would be just right.

First pour of my milkshake IPA. Tastes like an orange creamsicle. I used all Mandarina hops. Overall I'm happy with this, but next time, less boil hops and DH with something else, probably Citra.

This is based off of @Soneast 's Kolsch recipe. Going down fast. Thanks Soneast! It's 60F outside and the sun is beaming. Perfect Kolsch weather.

*Note: This batch followed my yeast experiment batch where I divided a 5 gallon wort into two 2.5 gallon batches (of a NEIPA). One used Weihenstephaner yeast and the other London III 1318. Friends said they were both fine. I got major band-aid and burning plastic smells from them. They were both heavily dosed with Galaxy and Simcoe. Recently, I had some 100% Simcoe hopped brews and discovered I am sensitive to Simcoe and got the same band-aid/plastic smell. Anyway, this batch kind of let me know that my procedures are probably decent.

Still drinking this nelson saison. I brewed it in december, and the nelson hops still pop. Tons of phenols from the dupont strain, damn good for %4. I wish my NEIPA held on to its haze and hop flavors like this.

Drinking on a Belgian Pale that was hopped with Hallertau Blanc. Threw tons of white wine character. Super easy drinker at 5.5% and just took second in a recent comp.
