Drinking my last city slickers right now and feeling like a kid who's not gonna see his sleepaway camp friends for a whole year.

Going to switch it up from the usual 'what time should I get there?' question.

Does anyone know how buying a keg from OH works? Do you need to be on the keg email list I've seen floating around? Can you show up midweek while they're brewing and pick one up?

Attending a big party Saturday and was interested in grabbing a keg last second if possible.

They have a keg request form on their website www.otherhalfbrewing.com

Not sure if this is the only way to get a keg, hopefully someone else in here has better details than me!

Just be prepared to have people write and post pictures on this thread, if you return the keg while waiting on the can release line on a Saturday (to kill two birds with one stone).:angry::confused::grimacing:

    NY

It's going to be a good one. All of the best Vermont, Massachusetts, PA and CT breweries will be represented. I'm part of a group responsible for representing NY/NJ.

Looks like LIC Beer Project (per their IG post) is at Other Half brewing up a collab.

My hope is that one day the NYC craft breweries do some mega, multi-beer collaboration and name the beers after the various gangs of The Warriors (without getting sued somehow).

That beer was not good. But the local beer scene has come so far. Other Half, Grimm, Interboro, LIC, Sand City, etc didn't even exist back then.

After last weekend maybe the LIC collab should be called "Long Lines, Doin' Fine". I say this with love for both breweries of course.

Back to the topic of Other Half cans being insanely marked up on Long Island- Pequa beverage in Massapequa has them for $12.99 a can for whoever's interested!

Wow that's insane! For anyone that purchases that I will be waiting outside to give you a swift kick in the pants. They should use the money they are gouging from people to get rid of all the old IPAs that fills that store. You can buy 2 year old Boom Sauce here if u want it.
And I thought Wantagh was bad at $11.00 a can.
