I get that the brewery isn't going to be able to please everyone, and I'm glad they recognize a possible issue and are trying to solve it, but I think they could benefit from hiring someone specifically to handle PR related stuff. And they probably shouldn't hand customers a written menu that says that crowlers of a particular beer are on sale if they're not willing to sell them one. I even asked if it would be worth me hanging out a bit after lunch to see if they were on sale, and the guy I talked to kind of abruptly said that they'd post on social media. Now I may have talked with someone that just wasn't really friendly, by nature, but the experience was just kind of off putting.

That said, I did really like Haka. Not as good as Zeelander, IMO, but very solid nonetheless. I'm not going to write these guys off, by any means. I just think my next trip there - it probably won't be the destination - it'll be more of a spot that I stop at while I'm passing through.

I was in there Sunday for brunch. When I left around 12:15 I was able to purchase a crowler of Haka and a crowler of Sherpa's from the cooler up front.

Also, tried their Hopland on Saturday evening and thought it was pretty great.

I stopped on my drive back from TG on Friday as I grabbed lunch down there with my father and picked up some King Sue. I arrived at Forager at 3:00 and was told that they had Crowlers of Haka ready but the release wasn't until 4:20. Not a big deal and I just continued on. I have stopped in there before and the food was good. Sad I couldn't grab a crowler, but there are plenty of better beers out there.

They will have Magnus at the Rochester Craft Brew Fest on Saturday. Just in case anyone was free. Tickets and VIP tickets still available.
