For Dallas there's also Bitter Sisters brewery, and Small Brewpub.
On Rotation is actually a Brewpub even though they don't have food.

In Arlington you have Dr Jekylls and On Tap as growler fills, but you forgot Kool Keg.

World of Beer should also be included but they are a lot more expensive then the other options.

In Fort Worth. Chimera is a Brewpub.
For beer bars: Bearded Lady. I'm sure there are others on Magnolia but I'm not sure which ones.

    Growler Fills/Beer Bars
    Kool Keg - Arlington
    What's On Tap - Keller

    Bottle Shop
Grapevine Beer & Wine - Grapevine

If anyone knows of any new breweries opening or that have opened after the latest LOOK HERE edition, please add them to the thread. It would be nice to have a compiled list of breweries in DFW area for everyone, not just visitors. If we want we can sort them into the must hits vs. solid options vs. if you have time etc.

It'd be good to have a priority list in addition to a comprehensive list. Maybe priority by area. I'm coming in town for one night in a bit and need an idea for something relatively close to DFW, or off the orange line from DFW, family friendly (ie serves food), and all I'm coming up with on google map research is the Common Table? Glad it made your list.

Well Meddlesome Moth is 0.8 miles from Victory Station on the Orange line. They have great food and beer... Depending on what sort of family you have it may not be what you're looking for though. There are also a lot of breweries right around that station. I don't think Community normally has food but its a big warehouse type taproom with a lot of families hanging out there.

The Common Table was good but when my wife and I went there years ago the beer menu was really at odds with the food. The menu was almost nothing but imperial stouts, barleywines, and massive IPA's... Enjoyable beers but all stuff that I'd want to sip on after I finish a meal not during it.

Would that almost qualify as midcities as well, just north of the airport?

It is almost like we need a "Northern Suburbs' list for Lewisville, Colony, Plano, Frisco, Allen.

A couple of adds in the growler / beer bars section for this area...
    Thirsty Growler
    Heritage Pizza

A brewery called Windmills is coming in soon but I have never heard of them and not sure they are true craft beer.

Hey @headyhunter526 I saw your post in the Southwest forum and wanted to direct you here. This is a fairly good list of options available in the DFW area.

@TX-Badger any chance of editing the Summer Edition out of the title of the post? Information is still quite relevant and as you stated we can continue to add in new items.

New Main Brewing in Arlington (Technically Pantego) just opened their doors for a soft opening. Their Grand Opening is tomorrow.

They're just opening as a taproom right now but are working to get the money together for a brewing system and the licenses to start brewing.

Edit: and Turning Point just got their Cert of Occupancy so they may be able to be added to the Mid Cities list of breweries for Bedford. Or at least very soon.

I sorta think that brewpubs and breweries should just be changed to "places that make beer"....the lines are too blurred these days to really make a difference (minus from the legal standpoint).

I'll be down in a couple weeks for my spring break pilgrimage. Thanks for the info in this thread. My wife and I have kids and sister in law as well, so I'm not really looking for "beer bars". Mostly looking for awesome beer I can't get in Iowa. Weather I need to go to eat or just drink, don't care. We do some after hours growler fills for the deck too.

New Main Brewing has started putting their own beers on tap.

It is unpredictable whether anything will be on at any given moment because they are brewing on a tiny pilot system now but they're getting multiple beers ready for a release party this weekend.

Hopefully they'll be able to stabilize the production soon.
