Today's version of Bright - BRIGHT w/Simcoe & Amarillo (Double IPA 7.8% ABV. Delicious. Cheers

I know right, I went into it thinking who put these kids up to this and why. And was pleasantly surprised!

 

Good stuff.

 

Looks to be a play on the word "terroir". Instead of terre - earth, they went with mer - sea. So their products display characteristics of the underwater environment from which they're harvested as wine displays it "terroir", or the characteristics of the earth from which the grapes are grown.

Noon Whistle is having a pre-Chicago Craft Beer Week event with Modern Artisan Cheese Company and a release of their dry-hopped NEIPA Mosaic Gummy. The cheese is infused with it as well.

I am having the Coconut Bernie with Roasted Broccoli Salad with beer cheese and the Beer-bacoa tacos.
All are good.
I'll have the Mosaic Gummy later.

I can't imagine he was ever called Bernie, but he has chops and legacy. His dad, Luther, was a solid draw at blues clubs in Chicago.

 

Next to the last Veil. It has been a good week. I was going to go to the brewery today when they opened at 4:00. Temp was 95 degrees and I thought that an old sorry ass like me standing in line outside for twenty minutes or more was not a smart idea. The beer is great but is it that good. Perhaps if I was a 20 something year old kid. Then maybe.

 

A Brewmaster Jack "Hoppiness Is A Warm Pun" fresh from the .99 cent bin. A very good DIPA. Gosh darn I love the bargain bins

First, best wishes to @DoctorZombies and Mrs DocZom. He's a good dude, and I'm assuming he outkicked his coverage like most of us did, so I'm sure she's a HOFer.

Second, this (Centaur Gardens from Modern Times) got better (a LOT better) with an extra week+ of age. It's a West Coast NE-style IPA juice bomb. God Bless America.

 

Beer #999. A bit heavy on the vanilla, but great.

 

I thought the same thing when the kid was playing the piano pedals with her hands while sitting on the floor. I'm glad i kept watching.

 

The workers are already home and the sun is setting. Absolutely fantastic hoppy double.

 

Good call! It just goes to show that even though people turn up their noses at word play and puns, it's truly deep humor.

 

Super underrated singer and guitarist. Love the Winery Dogs, especially! Have a great time!

 

Avery's Raspberry Sour.

My hometown just started drafting Avery, and I couldn't be more excited.
This is my first time trying their sour, and I am MORE than impressed. It has the perfect balance of sweet and sour.
It's a great day for a beer, you guys!
