look: 3.25 | aroma: 3.5 | taste: 3.75 | feel: 3.5 | overall: 3.75

Light clear yellow color with large white cap.

Clean scent with light touches of coriander and orange.

Flavor is of a clean, light white ale with coriander more prominent in the taste than the scent while orange seems a bit more diminished, except in the aftertaste which accents the orange a little more than the spice. There may be a hop presence in the background, something floral, but not much.

Texture is more than medium and creamy.

I suppose it's oats in the grain bill that account for the creamy texture. Whatever it is, it's noticeable. Overall this brew doesn't do any more (or less) for me than say, Blue Moon, the difference being I can get Blue Moon fresher and at a lower cost.

Brotherton IPA on tap, excellent brew one of the best IPA's brewed in NJ.

 

Dropping the gauntlet, brotherton is doing THE best ipas is nj right now.

This is the one beer that I asked for from @Lingenbrau and his 26 pounder he sent me yesterday. This is what I had hoped it would be and talk about pretty? Thanks brother.

 

Having a Poperings Hommelbier Limited Edition 2017. It’s a Belgian Golden Ale. And Wow(!), this is good.

BJ's Brewhouse in Lewisville, first up is their Mad Crazy Mango IPA, a pretty nice IPA with mango added.



#2 is their Barrel-Aged Tatonla Stout. They did a nice job with this - creamy + bourbony = math ovaltine can do.



The bartender brought me a sample, but I don't do samples - I commit to the beer.
