Hi guys, I was recently at Applejack in Arvada and saw several new seasonal mix packs available. Odell has a couple new ones, and even features a new lager. What's your guys favorite mix packs out there? I enjoy variety so naturally I'm attracted to mix packs when they're interesting. I know Sierra Nevada released their Beer across the world series, which I'd really like to find. Has some really cool collabs (on paper at least). Anyone seen this one around? Particularly interested in the Avery/Sierra collab- which is a dry hopped barleywine, and basically Hog Heaven and Bigfoot combined.
Ska's True Blonde, EBS, and Modus Hoperandi is my favorite pack, but it seems to have fallen out of favor. Their other pack is nothing but IPA's, which bores me. I'll snag the occasional NB or Odell mixed pack here and there. I know it isn't cool, but I'll occasionally grab the Blue Moon variety, too. The winter one is a must for me every year.
I like GD Big Show 12x when it features Hades or their doppelbock (Wolfgang?). I also enjoy the Prost and Odell mixed packs.
Odell mostly... and the occasional Dry Dock. Speaking of which, I hope @S26BC does mix-six packs with (Single Hop or Seasonal), Pale, Cream Ale & Copper in the future.
Booty Box (Dry Dock) is a good one, although I wish they switched it back to the Hefe instead of the Vanilla Porter during summer months. Odell Montages are always great. Really liked the most recent one with the Nail Knot lager. I'm looking forward to the new River North (Pils, Farmhouse, White, IPA) and Elevation (Kolsch, Wit, IPA, Porter) for the upcoming summer!
At my favorite store, that Funkwerks Provincial 12-pack lists for $22. A pretty good deal for the quality.
