First off simply a great beer in my opinion to start with but I did not realize it was 4.0% ABV. That makes it a 3.2% ABW beer in Minnesota and the absolute king of 3.2 beers. Calories must be in line with a light beer I would think. You want a great tasting sessionable beer for the summer. Here it is.

That makes more sense. I did about 30 minutes of research on-line and all I saw was 4.0 which I think is on your site as well...thanks for the clarification....great beer....clean....clear...loaded with flavor...

I have gone through a couple 6-packs. A good beer and coming in cans is a nice bonus.

"Needs to" (or ought to) be in a 12-pack. I have no other complaints.

IMO, still the most underrated brewery in the state of MN. Awesome stuff!

So true. I remember 2008 when I'd say "only Summit and Schell's???" in despair at a bar. Now the sight of a Schell's tap handle gets me going...

I haven't seen this one in stores yet but when I do, instabuy!

Having one on tap right now at Zorbaz. I agree, perfect helles. If I see it in the stores around here it will be one of my summer go to beers!

I enjoyed one yesterday straight from the can (I'm a heathen when the situation demands) while hanging out in a friend's garden.

Since he was drinking my usual tipple (see avatar) and my sense impressions were already tuned-in to the customary situation of drinking "low-priced beer with friends", I was expecting the same-old / same old semi sweet, semi-fizzy adjunct goodness. But then the malt profile hit me, and it went straight past my lizard brain and slugged me right in the WOW sector of my brainpan.

And then I looked down at the can in my hand, and wondered whether this stuff is ever gonna get packaged in a 12-pack. :sunglasses:

Thank you for the recommendation! On a beer list full of IPAs, saisons, and sours it is really hard for me to order lagers. Not that I don't like lagers, I've just been burned to many times paying $6 a pint for bland, boring beers.... Ft. Point is neither bland nor boring, and I'll gladly pay the money...

I enjoyed it on tap at Carl's Corner in Essig. So damn delicious. So easy drinking. If I didn't have a 2 hour drive home, to get back to work, I would have gladly had more.

I will be getting a 6 pack, but I've really got to reduce the inventory of beer I've got first.

After drinking about 18 of these I have come to the conclusion this is THE top lager brewed in this state and would have to be considered for best brewed lager in the U.S. Would fit in nicely in Germany.

I would have to agree! Really hope they start carrying it here. Saw one place in Fargo that carries it, so I might just have to go there and stock up!
