Alas they were gone when I went back. Science loses out this time. That's been happening a lot lately :slight_frown:

Yeah, I actually ended up checking three or four Bartell's hoping to find some. Nada. Disappointed but relieved.

I still have a spring elixir, its been kept cold, ... I'd be willing to donate it ... for science.

Why on earth you've held onto this beer for so long is a mystery for which we will ask no answers...provided, that is, you donate the bottle and join us to drink your share. There is still space left for a few more weirdos and ne'er-do-wells on that spreadsheet...

PS I'm sure the fact that "it's been kept cold" has made all the difference in preserving its peak circa-2015 hop freshness! This one, should it grace us via your contribution, is destined to be the gem of the share...

Pray tell, was it the promise of that Spring Elixir which finally brought you down from the fence?

Either way, and for the record, I’ve always thought of you as more of a ne’er-do-well, or a rascal and scalawag (another demographic that should be well-represented), but that’s really neither here nor there. It’s just good you’re coming, if only because it should defuse any concern we might have had about your starting an alternative share. With better covfefe.

OK, use covfefe in a haiku. First, must decide how many syllables it has. Don't bother trying to decide what it means.

My woman (yes, she's a beer geek) is out because work, so that frees up another spot. Now you have to come, Edward. We can be socially awkward wallflowers being awkward near each other.

    Covfefe has three,
and sounds like the drink, slurred, we’ll
    need after this share.:sunglasses:

@Texwild we are now up to 27 people if everyone who has signed up attends. There are 6 maybes so I think we are still going to be well under 30 but wanted to check to see if you want me to lock down the spreadsheet. the last thing anyone wants is for this to turn into something that is not enjoyable or worse, a pain the butt, for our gracious host!

Terry, who remains unlisted but who will and must attend (I'm not hugging fucking Larry. Well, okay, maybe I will wrap him in an extended embrace too...), actually makes the current max 28. I did this math without a calculator, and I'm woeful at math, but I still think it's sound. Just wanted to enter it into the record, for executive decision-making purposes.

Furthermore, I imagine, based on everything I've been able to glean from this site, that Terry probably counts thrice at a bottle share. Perhaps we're right at the limit already?

I am so technologly terryble, that I can't even spreadsheet. My full intention is to attend, but, I clearly need copilots (and, if I talk Lis into this thang, she likes sours. Just sayin'). But I truly won't know until day before, and, I can promise that no more than 9 classy people, and 1 hobo (me) will invade.

Folks schedules vary, so this tight time frame makes things "fluid'.

OTOH, I got a buddy who has keys to all the school buses, might be able to cause a diversion by dropping actual hobos at UBG, whilst we celebrate elsewhere.

    Or not.

Thanks for the reminder. I'll update the spreadsheet tonight.

Got the green light from the wife (it's a driving issue mostly), so barring some unforeseen disaster, I should be there.

i added you to the spreadsheet. i am not sure if i understood anything else you wrote other than if you do attend you will be bringing a guest and she likes sour beer? hope to see you there - it has been too long.

Yeah, I won't be able to fully commit until day before (for a variety of reasons), but I'll let ya know when I know.

No worries Terry - just wanted to make sure we hold a spot for you. And you don't have to let me know anything, just surprise us all and we will give you a huge group hug!

I'll bring my box. The one my uncle had at the end of the movie Seven. That should tone down any huggy urges. Just don't ask where I got 4-1/2 cans of warm Coors Light.

Any room left in this shindig? I have some Barleywines and BA Stouts in the cellar begging to be opened. I am all out of Spring Exlir though unfortunately.
