A 750 fill is 23 with your own glass. A pour is $3-$7.

    Cheers

Is it typical of Monkish IPA's to not have any sort of body? I tried two of them yesterday - both had very little carbonation and little to no body. The aroma was good, but it was like drinking watered down grapefruit juice rather than a NE DIPA.

Same beers everytime with galaxy minus a one hop swap. But everyone seems to think every new beer is better n better when infact it's not. You're better off going to Walmart n getting a 64oz of simply orange for $4.99 if you want JUICCCEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

Working outside of Boston, I've been able to get my hands on Trillium and Tree House. Some of the trades I see flying around is for Monkish, but man, I'd never give up anything from them for Monkish based on what I had yesterday. To me, this is one time that the hype far outweighs the actual product.

Your trade bros got you grapefruit. Was your ISO listed as juice?

Was this meant for me? I had everything on tap, not from trades.

Drinking Jean hands right now, probably one of my least favorites they've put out

I'm no Monkish defender (in fact, I've visited 3x and really have not been impressed with their hoppy beers) but I do want to address your original post about body.

Between what I've had from Trillium, Tree House and Monkish, I actually conclude that Monkish IPAs have the fullest, creamiest mouthfeel. I am not really into their flavor profile, but I feel like they've nailed the body and I'm not sure how they do it.

That being said, I haven't had the beers you tried and I would say that I did try a pale ale from them that had a watery mouthfeel and taste (April Babies), so it's not inconceivable that the ones you tried were duds in that regard.

In the Noble Ale Works thread, people have said that their NE beers that they DON'T can are not that good. Maybe Monkish is similar?

Just checked the app for my local store. Prices have gone up. 59oz for $3.89. I was a tad bit off.

Are you sure it doesn't just taste better because people wait in line for them?
