Howdy all, BAers and virtual bar-mates. I thought this would be most appropriate today on Memorial Day. It's always a day that makes me think of my American Grandfather, a WWII flying medic who served after D-day... R.I.P. Also a moment to hope that we don't repeat the horrific and stupid later 20th century and early 21st century wars either... cheers all. Have a great day, wherever you are, and yeah... have a great beer.

 

Wasn't going to drink today....Atlantic Bar harbor's Real Ale in Rockland.

 

Starting the day with a coffee brett IPA. Pretty nice. Cheers!

 

Beer #2. My local shop only received a single case of Beer Camp this year, so they broke it up and limited it to 3 beers pp. I chose this, the Tree House ipa, and the other West Coast ipa. Did I choose right @VABA @mmorris15 ?

 

Central Waters Rye Barrel Chocolate Porter. Real chocolaty and excellent.

 

SN/Surly Ginger Lager. I really dig this.

 

I'd say you chose well. The TH collab was very nice. Having the Porter and DIPA in a bit. I really liked the Ginger Lager and Dunkel too (although the Dunkel isn't too much different than any other Dunkel you can grab on the shelf).

I finished them all! My favorite was the Atlantic Wild Ale (or some such), followed by the two different canned West Coast, East Coast IPAs. But that is just my opinion.

I am surprised these were not more widely distributed because I saw a bunch stacked up at two different Total Wines.
