Another quick sampling whilst I decide what to dress my lamb burgers in. Thinking about Feta and Tzatziki, or is that too predictable? What say you @joe1510 and @PatrickCT? Lend this novice a hand, please.

Moderate pour yields a 3/4 inch white head over a cloudy, 99% opaque body of a murky gold color. Nose of citrus, pine, and very slight tropical fruit. Taste of citrus and piney hops. Feel is strange with a little carbonation but something else. I've had more than a few of these cloud bombs and with each one I'm am being turned off somewhat. The hop detritus in these cloudy beers is getting in the way of an enjoyable experience for me. That being said, it's a good beer and nothing more. Cheers?

This is why life is beautiful.
June 13th marks the 3 year anniversary of the death of my best friend. Today, I spent 3 hours with his wife at my favorite bar. I introduced her to KBS. She loved it. She wished her husband was there to enjoy it. We laughed.
Now I am home. My friend was a Hop head and would have loved Trillium. Today was a day of remembrance for a number of reasons.

some highlights...

 

I actually read a recipe last week for lamb burgers that caught my eye. They were done Chinese style, like Cumin Lamb. Spiced with cumin, Szechuan peppercorns, and chili flakes. Then it was dressed with the sauteed vegetables (onion, jalapeno, bell, garlic) you'd find in Cumin Lamb. Those vegetables were then mixed with yogurt to basically just hold them together.

Feta and tzatziki sounds good too.

5th Marines are the most decorated unit in the Corps. Think of every F*cking hell hole and they've been there. That's a heart wrenching tribute.

Very predictable. Also, very delicious. Classic flavor combinations are classic for a reason. I say go with feta and tzatziki on those lamb burgers.
